Bad hotel by any measure

Pros:
Cons: Hotel facilities are old and need to be upgraded The staff is not experienced/trained and not welcomed
It was not mention anywhere that the hotel is under construction. The AC was very noisy in our room, therefor we asked, the morning staff, to replace it and they promise to do so. Unfortunately the they didn’t pass this info to the next shift, and we found ourselves (in the evening) with the same noise room as there were no other rooms available. We had to sleep 2nd night w/o AC.

Nice hotel for business clients and shoppers alike

Pros: The convenience to area shopping and to Ft. Lauderdale where I was attending a conference.
Cons: No bugs in the bathroom.
Location: Sawgrass Mall.
Only problem were small bugs in the bathroom. Rooms were cleaned every day.

$15-Resort fee is a Joke! It's just a gimmic to get additional money for their pockets. Pictures are deceiving, the pool is small, No lounge chairs to lay and sun bathe on, Nothing for children, once it's night time shady people Loiter outside the front doors. Never Again!!!!

Remodel needed

Pros: Price seemed reasonable prior to seeing our room(s)
Cons: Maintenance was completely over whelmed
We were placed in a smoking room although we were told it was non smoking. We demanded a different smoke free room. Our second room had a toilet that required you remove the back lid and flush manually. When the unit above took a shower, water came into our room from the ceiling above our shower. The carpet outside our room was wet, possibly from the same shower problem. We found a note from maintenance intended for the prior tenant, explaining that they planned on fixing the toilet soon. Overall, the place was a dump.

Pros: I didn't like anything about the hotel.
Cons: The entire

They say you get what you pay for, but this was a bad experience. Besides the renovation that was going on, the toilet was running all night, and you can hear the neighbors entire conversation for 2 days and 2 nights. Housekeeping never showed up, and it took 4-5 hours for towels and washcloth.

I felt duped when I saw this place. For the price, and looking at photos, I was expecting something much better, not a run down former Holliday Inn that is now trying to present itself as something upscale. It was not enjoyable. Front desk staff could have been more helpful.

Pool area poor, painting, construction, halls, elevators dirty. One elevator broken and no lights were working on them. This may be good for a business trip or one night pit stop if you can't find anything else. I will not go back nor would my family ever want too!
