We had a great stay at Belardoo. Location is brilliant, just 5 minute walk to Mooloolaba main strip. Our 2 bedroom apartment had a balcony and overlooked the beach. Shower was inside spa bath and would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.

Spacious Unit
The check-in was simple and speedy and the unit was very spacious with large living, dining and kitchen areas and both bedrooms were generous. The bathroom and separate toilet were also very roomy and the entire unit was clean and looked to have been renovated recently

Very outdated & in need for renovations, great location if the property was kept in a better state. Light fixtures not working ceiling fan not working, no wifi bedding & beds very old .

The location was great. Communication was very good. The property was tidy and most of what we needed was provided. Big downside was that it was not clean. The bathroom in particular was filth and full of mould. Also the fans in the bedrooms only worked on low, which was hard during summer.

My miserable weekend
Too many things wrong. Fridge froze all our salad and other vegetables. Had to rebuy them. Four beds in room and only two towels. Netflix impossible to connect to. Wouldn’t recommend it to my friends.

I liked the location...across the road from the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Wasn't spotless but it was more dust in corners of rooms and on the skirting rather than anything major and we spent little time there so it was okay. Parking is a bit tight if you have a large vehicle.

Perfect apartments for a group of us to stay for the long weekend. The staff were lovely and communication and care was 100 percent. A walk away from everything we needed. We will all definitely be back next year.

Very roomy, great location, quite comfortable, pleasant staff, well maintained grounds. No lift could be a problem for some. Dense vegetation in the garden of the ground floor apartment unfortunately spoilt our view from the first floor to the coastline. It looked overgrown and untidy.

Was in a good spot, with walking distance to shops, supermarket, beach & walks. Apartment was clean & had recently been painted inside but very dated. Was a little road noisy as being on the main road, if windows & doors sealed properly this would solve this. For the price is was reasonable.

The stay was wonderful excellent room but the shower head needs to be replaced. Also I understand that we need to be extra toilet paper etc but they only supply one roll where other places supply 2. When we arrived to book in which was after hours we had no idea where the reception was as there was nothing on the text on where to find it from the car park.

Air conditioner was faulty. This was raised with property manager and he simple advised it is a long term issue and if it cuts out just go to the circuit board and flick the safety switch back on. Not a very satisfactory process.

The kitchen and family room was like an oven, no air conditioner. Open the balcony door for a sea breeze, no difference. I wold not recommend this property to anyone.

Location was great and the view from our room was fantastic. No air con in the living room/dining/kitchen area. No screen on the windows or berandah door so couldn’t leave it open at night and it was very hot.

Good value in a great location.
Great location and value in Mooloolaba. Room has everything you need. Couple of things need maintenance or replacement, like the sliding doors and shower head, but it's no big concern.

Our stay
We paid for air-conditioning but was told that the air-con has not worked for three years. We wanted comfortable beds but we had hard beds and had terrible sleep. We had no face washers in the bathroom. The photos on the Web didn't match the room we stayed in. The lock up garage was a one out of five. There was not much room to park the car, very tight fitting. We were very disappointed with our room.

Handy to beach and eateries.
Our unit was clean and tidy, across the road from the beach and a short stroll to the eateries. When you stay at Mooloolaba you want to be able to park the car but still get to the beach and places to eat as parking is so difficult. I would stay at Bellardoo again.

Cheap and just across from the beach!
I've stayed at Bellardoo twice now. The first time I was astounded by how cheap the motel was. We booked the budget apartment, but I think we got the best one there! Top floor, Ocean view. Amazing! It was spotless. It had everything we needed including a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, mop and even sachets of washing powder. The only thing I didn't like the first time was dragging the luggage up the stairs - but it was completely worth it! The second time was a little less impressive as we booked a standard two-bedroom apartment which was located on the bottom floor. Due to the constant traffic, the view was only buses and cars. Also, as we were on the ground floor we had other guests walking across our patio and talking right in front of our window which got old pretty fast. This apartment cost more than the first, but I feel it had less. The moment we went in, we noticed a few dirty marks here and there or things that could have been easily swept up but weren't. We also noticed that this apartment didn't have a mop (a little too late) which made dealing with spills difficult. However, these unimpressive factors haven't dampened my view on Bellardoo. I am already planning another trip in March next year. Due to my most recent experience there, I wanted to ask a few questions before booking so I emailed. I got a fast response, my questions answered and a lovely deal! It's truly amazing and the cheapest motel in Mooloolaba. Great location. Would recommend to anyone!

-Very overpriced -Dusty -Dirty dishes in cupboards -Tap water tastes bad -Icing on the cake was receiving a text from the managers at SIX AM!! on Sunday morning, telling us how to check out early. So we did. And would never return.

Opposite beach and very close to shops
We only stayed 2 nights but it ticked all the boxes. Not high end luxury but good location right opposite beach, clean facilities, lovely pool and positioned at the start of the Esplanade where shops and restaurants were in abundance. Checkin after hours was easy and a welcome text with instructions was a nice touch. Undercover parking at no cost was also a bonus.

This is a good place to stay if you are on a budget. We chose the budget option and were not disappointed. It is not too large and is in a great location close to the shops and opposite the beach. There are no lifts so just be aware of that if it is an issue for you. You also need to step over a ledge into the shower so it is not ideal if you have mobility issues. It wasn't the most luxurious but a good option if you are on a budget. This is the second year we have stayed there which shows we were happy with the venue.

Only thing that it had going for it was location.
Told office closed at 7pm, arrived before 6pm office closed. Sign said closed at 5pm? Light fittings not working. Advertised as free wi fi, found there would be a charge. did not use. TV all but unusable sound sporadic. Took nearly whole stay to find air con control. no tea towels or extra rubbish bags. The list goes on. only small things to some. but all had a nuisance value.
