“Not Impressed at Novotel”

This is a very popular hotel, and it looks well warn. Also, the staff were not particularly friendly. It would have made a better impression on me if trash were picked up on the grounds around the balconies, etc. The best thing about it was the Kid's Club. They were very well organized and did a great job. Also, they put on a nice carnival on New Year's Eve. It was expensive, however. The rooms were clean enough. We stayed in a bottom floor unit, which did not have carpeting... only tile so the sand was a problem. The pool was very busy all the time, so we went to the lagoon or the beach. It was nice that they had kayaks and small catamarans available for anyone to use free of charge. Overall, there were some nice elements to the stay, but I cannot recommend it since some of it needs to be refurbished and maintained.
