Great view, massive room, so close to the beach

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Massive room - nicely decorated - seemed to be quite new furniture - nothing drab in the lounge / bed. Great view overlooking the beach - 2 minutes to be at the oceans edge. Perfect. Would definitely go back

Great place for a relaxing stay

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Lovely location and close to Surf Club
Cons: The check in process
Location: Walk to surf club, across the road from the beach and skate park, and in between Mooloolaba and Maroochydore.
Rooms have been newly refurbished and are stylish and well appointed. Great views and a couple of cafes and take away food places downstairs.

Rooms recently upgraded

Posted Jun 7, 2015
Pros: It's quiet location
Cons: The check in process
Location: Across the road from the beach, walking distance to surf club and some shops down stairs for meals and take always.
The rooms at The Oaks have been recently upgraded which has vastly improved the experience of staying here. They've done a fantastic job and the rooms are beautifully appointed. Lovely lagoon pool and very relaxing

Good family option

Posted Apr 15, 2015 on Wotif
Lovely well maintained public space. Lagoon style pool excellent for little children- but shallow for young teens. Security/pay-as-you-use arrangements for Internet, gym, sauna, car wash hoses etc very silly. Ground level unit great- spacious, fresh paint and carpets, large terrace across from pool. Perfect for family with 6 kids

The worst hotel experience ever

Posted Apr 13, 2015 on Wotif
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything!
Location: Boring and unfriendly town.
Service was pathetic, there is no internet at all, very expensive, it is very old and is not even close to a 3 star hotel.

Great resort that you won't need to leave

Posted Apr 9, 2015
Pros: Everything is within easy access and a very relaxing place to stay.
Cons: We like to try and leave when the little ones are due for a sleep which is lunchtime. I found it offensive/rude that we had to pay $20 to do so.
Location: Shops and beaches close by. A bike path that goes for kilometres either way. 20 minute walk to Sunshine Plaza.
We were looking for somewhere that was close to the beach but also had amenities useful for children and Seaforth was excellent. A lovely lagoon with sandy beach for the kids to play on together with another large pool that included a 25 m pool, small children's pool and spa. The resort also has an IGA, restaurant and bakery that are easy to access on the main street and only just across the road from the beach. An ideal setting. The rooms were clean, large and very comfortable.

Easter at Oaks Seaforth

Posted Apr 8, 2015
Pros: Close to the beach and lots of very good restaurants.
Cons: Room service was offered on first day but never came back for the rest of our stay.
Location: Surf Club, Thai restaurant, BWS shore, local grocer, baker.
Very good apartments situated in a lovely spot on the Sunshine Coast.
