Always difficult to respond to anonymous reviews of this type as it is difficult to track down the room involved. We are unaware of any apartments where curtains are 'in shreds' as you wouldn't rent the apartment in such condition, non the less we shall review the 109 apartments in an attempt to locate. We also don't have any beds where you just sleep on a mattress so this review has been quite perplexing. Certainly routinely our restaurant team are not normally referred to in the manner described. If you care to contact our office we would follow these matters up for you.

Thanks, Anon for your review. Restaurant times are posted on site & additionally provided in your welcome letter upon arrival. As it is off-season, the restaurant is closed Sunday & Monday nights.

Thanks anon for your review. A $30 all you can eat buffet which was changed nightly with kids eating free is usually considered good value with freshly cooked local produce. Sorry you did not enjoy the buffets, which finished last week. Body Corporate are increasing the amount of pool furniture & appreciate ytour thoughts.

Always difficult to investigate anonymous commentary & have checked the logs for issues you have mentioned, but appear not to have been taken up with the team in respect of the apartment shortfalls. The restaurant does do ice cream (mango sorbet, or vanilla with choice of toppings) & coffee from 8am in the morning to close, so I am not sure where the issue was there. Certainly we did not receive any other commentary in regard to any odours around the pools, so not sur what thay may have related to. It may have been the retic system for the gardens that comes on the early morning (3am) which is bore water which has a high sulphar content. Normally clears by 6 or 7am, however if little wind, may explain the odour. We regret your expectations were not met.

You raised with reception your comments regarding a kettle (which was replaced) & the dryer (maintenance could not find anything wrong with the dryer & still working since your departure) so not sure what the issue may have been there? The grounds early morning are watered with bore water which can have a stong pungent ordour but usually clears by 7am - we regret that your expectations were not met & perhaps your needs would have been better nmet with a property in the middle of the township, rather than our beachfront location a 5 minute drive out of town

Thanks, Wayne for your review. We appreciate guest commentary as it assists in providing a better service tom guests. The shop & bar is open Mon - Weds 9AM - 5PM, Thurs - Sat 9AM to 8PM & Sun 10AM to noon so theire is some context around hours of operation. These are the offseason hours and detailed on all websites. As of this week-end, these hours are extended. The stroll to the beach (5 minutes) through natural bush is sign posted within the resort & once you are on the path, it takes you straight to the beach. Certainly its an idea to note where you come onto the beach, so you can follow that path back to your unit. Alternately you are able to drive to the car park abutting the resort & walk through onto the beach from there. Thanks again for your cpomments.

Unfortunately quite a few patrons do not book their tables at the restaurant, so we fly blind as to whether it will be 10 or 40 patrons so from time to time and our waitress / s do have access to additional team members if required. Thanks, B for your review. We have always been 2klms from town as per our website & all information regarding the resort. We have 3 x swimming pools, 2 x spa (1 heated, 1 unheated) a restaurant & a bar, not to mention expansive grounds & tropical gardens abutting one of SE Queensland best beaches. The rates reflect that we are a 3.5 star accommodation rating and as evidenced by the bulk of the reviews the majority of respondents rate sub substantially higher than the rating you have provided. We are sorry your expectations were not met
