Great family get away location and value for moneyPosted Jan 29, 2014
Pros: location, outlook, spaciousness
Cons: our apartment and furnishings needed a makeover
Location: great family beach. good eating out options, nice buzz (not cheap, but good food), easy to travel north and south with great roads
we had a 5th floor apartment that was a little tired looking and for sale, so maybe the owner wasn't interested in updating the decor. It felt a little bare and unloved - when we booked we'd paid more for an apartment on level 5-12 where the recently renovated ones were but this must have been done some years ago judging by the decor. However, it was very spacious, functional and perfect views. The deck was huge and a great feature. It's close enough to the shops and main beach for older kids (potentially a pain with toddlers). Was a bit of road noise, but I don't think any higher up would make a difference - it's what you get if your want to be that close to the beach in mooloolaba - with the doors shut and air con on it was fine. carparking was great as was the pool. Wifi option was way too expensive by todays standard . . . you'll often get it for free in a hotel, so charging $40 for 1.5gig over 7 days is quite steep.

appartments with good beach views close to shopsPosted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: Location & size of rooms. Other facilities at unit block - pool , bbq, off street parking were very good.
Location: Restaurants & shops very close. Surf club also convenient & good for afternoon drink, lunch or dinner
Location very good with nice ocean views & short stroll to the commercial hub. Expect a bit of traffic noise though on this part of the Explanade. Mooloolaba resatuarants shops etc only a 1 minute stroll & short drive to Nambour & Noosa. The Seaview sign on the street was very bright & reflected on the underside of the front balconies making the bedrooms uncomfortably bright at night. Overall though nice place with good size living rooms & well equiped.

Beautiful viewsPosted Oct 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
This resort was centrally located close to beach and shops. It had a great view. The unit was overdue for a refurbishment so I would not give it a four star rating. In particular the couches in the living room were extremely uncomfortable and I developed a sore back. I Hope they purchase new couches soon.
