What More Could You Ask For!!Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Beautiful grounds, great pool area, well stocked villas with all you could need including own laundry. Near to restaurants/transport. Friendly staff.
Cons: We couldn't fault it. When asked same on resort survey sheet we both shrugged our shoulders and said we couldn't have asked for anything else.
Location: Boutique shops, cafes and restaurants. Water sports on river. Short ferry or bus ride to Noosa Main Beach/Hastings St or Tewantin Marina up river.
Travelled to the Islander with my 19 yr old daughter for a 3 night get away from it all trip from Melbourne. That's exactly what we did. Arrived prior to the designated 1.00 p.m. check-in but room was already ready for us & we were able to get settled in straight away with the ceiling fans already being turned on for our arrival. Reception staff were very helpful and able to direct us to all the local attractions, shopping and restaurants. 5% discount at some of the adjoining shops and restaurants. Only a two block walk to local mall with a hotel and large Dan Murphys to stock up on supplies for the villa fridge. Can recommend the ferry boat ride up and down river either into Noosa Heads/Hastings St or down to Tewantin/Noosa Marina. The ferry captain "Johnno" was quite amusing and gave a good commentary of the sights along the river. A number of different styles of restaurants along the riverfront and in Thomas St next to resort. We ate at Bella Vita (Italian), the RSL in Tewantin (with courtesy bus provided) and Maisie's Seafood & Steakhouse (yummy beef wellington). B/fast daily at Moondoggy's Cafe at resort was great. There are also bus stops straight outside the resort to take you to most of the main attractions. We got a bus to the Eumundi Market on Wednesday which was definetly worth the visit with a huge amount of interesting stalls. Bus trip back to Noosa Heads and swim at Main Beach near the surf life saving club- beautiful sand and refreshing water.

Good hotel near to everythingPosted Jan 8, 2015
Everything is in order from checkin, our stay and until checkout. My family enjoyed the spa, sauna and the pool all within the complex. Shops and restaurants are all walking distance. My family really enjoyed our stay here and will come again this year. We will recommend this hotel to our friends.

Nice and clean hotelPosted Nov 26, 2014
The hotel was clean, location was excellent, there was a lot of space (100 m2!!) and the pool was super. However the apartment was quite old and the materials as well. However the quality was great when it comes to the price!

Amazing placePosted Nov 24, 2014
Very comfortable, spacious hotel rooms , more like a townhouse. Very clean, my room was pool view, bit noisy but loved it. Pool is amazing, felt like I was in Fiji. You don't need a car around the hotel , restaurants just outside of the hotel. Beautiful , romantic place will be back again

Family friendlyPosted Nov 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
Very friendly basic holiday resort. Kids loved the pool areas and we felt very safe. Our unit 62 was in a very gold fishy spot with villas directly behind and the under tennis court car park right in front. we did have a lovely time and the position is perfect for access to the river.Would definitely recommend for families as it is a secure friendly resort and the staff are very helpful. My son left 2 pairs of shoes at the villa and the staff have followed up and are posting them to us.

easy drive to noosa heads, walked to TewantinPosted Oct 31, 2014
Pros: where it was situated and easy drive to Nossa Heads and also Emundi. also had restaurants and cafes at the front door with the river across the road.
Cons: we were quite close to the cafe in which they started getting ready about 5am so made a bit of noise.
Location: Good location I thought, easy to get to everywhere from here, as well as the river across the road.
Only went for a couple of nights but very pleasant, nice to swim in the large pool
