Recommended: One Bal Harbour is a truly beautiful hotel staffed by highly trained personnel who really understand customer service. Hotel is in a class by its self only two rooms on each floor allowing a feeling of privacy for each guest. Our room was beautiful with a breath taking view of the ocean and Intercostal Waterway also included view of the city. However the hotel food was mediocore and expensive. Recommended: I'm sure that everyone knows about the cost of staying anywhere in the Miami Beach/South Beach area and especially oceanfront. After reading dozens of reviews of dozens of hotels, this one stood out. Not only were the Traveller Opinions rated high but just the fact that there were no "extras" being charged was amazing for that area. We checked in quickly and efficiently, the front desk staff were more than helpful anytime. Free internet in rooms and 2 stand alone computers in the front office and FREE PARKING. We had an oceanfront first floor unit which was excellent, chairs and table to sit out and watch the people go by and the ocean waves crash in. It was great. The breakfast was also very good, but you have to get there as soon as it opens, it becomes extremely busy. Lots of shops a block away, 3 blocks away an exclusive shopping mall. Recommended: We was not aware that it was a timeshare hotel. They rewarded us for attending a optional timeshare presentation. No pressure to signup, just some gentle sales encouragement. It is a nice clean affordable hotel with good service and friendly staff. See all reviews for this hotel
