Stop overPosted Nov 18, 2014
Pros: it was fine
Cons: definitely shower was most requiring instructions.
Location: This is a n airport transit stop over.
Hotel is suitable for transitory personal accommodation. food was reasonably priced and served lounge style! Instructions for use of the shower were non existing, most confusing aspect of facility

Very expensivePosted Nov 13, 2014
Cons: Lower prices
Very expensive bus shuttle to North terminal.18 pounds for three of us to travel a mile each way is a rip off. Hotel was clean and neat although the heating/cooling thermostat didn,t work and just blew hot, so we switched it off and opened the windows. There were no lights in one of the elevators, totally pitch black. The meals are expensive in the restaurant/bar and the lady behind the bar was surly. Sounds like nit picking but add it all up and it takes the edge off of what could have been a pleasant stay.

1 night business stay plus car parkingPosted Nov 10, 2014
Pros: Location, convenience
Cons: poor outside lighting and signage to car park
Upon arrival, narrow and dark driveway entrance just behind Esso fuel station. Limited parking and VERY narrow entrance to mini multi storey. Queue at the front desk was soon sorted by the addition of a second receptionist. Room very clean and comfortable. Ate an evening meal in the bar, £29.99 offer for two starters, two mains and a glass of wine each. Seemed excellent value, but quality was only very average at best, filling but nothing more. Easy shuttle bus but it goes via South Terminal first. Used a privateer mini bus back to the hotel to collect the car. This service was quicker and cheaper. Overall, very convenient, clean, comfortable and good value room, but I would eat elsewhere if I stay again.

Good value for moneyPosted Nov 9, 2014
Hotel experience ok but ended up missing the flight because the hotel bus shuttle took longer than expected Just being 5 min from North Terminal, instead of starting the journey by North Terminal, it went all around the airport at different hotels and South Terminal Not sure what's the point of booking a hotel next to the terminal you are flying to if the bus shuttle wont take you there directly

Basic but pleasant hotel close to GatwickPosted Oct 1, 2014
A basic hotel but surprisingly comfortable for £45 per night. Staff very accommodating including late check out and bed very comfortable. Parking extra £7.50 at Travelodge next door. Would stay again.

Pre airport stayPosted Sep 26, 2014
We booked this hotel through Expedia. When we arrived at the hotel they had our booking but no rooms for us. The staff, especially the manager was very rude. Told us we had to stay at their sister hotel. I was rather annoyed. They took our money and but we had until 3 PM on the day to cancel. The hotel could have called us to advise us there were no rooms and we cld have cancelled. We did not like the alternative hotel we had to stay in at all. Very old, smelt and needed a lot of work. The manager at Airport Inn made the whole experience worse with is dreadful customer service skills and 'tough luck' attitude.

Nice hotel only 10 minutes to airport by shuttlePosted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: Closeness to the Airport.
Cons: On the day we couldn't get through to the phone line to confirm how to get there from Gatwick airport train station so ended up taking a taxi for £10.
Location: Very close to Airport.
we only stayed at this hotel to catch an early morning flight (the price of staying one night here was cheaper than getting a taxi at 3am in the morning and you get a good nights sleep too). The Hotel was nice with a good quality bed.
