Great place to stay and handy fot Gatwick Airport

“very English”

We currently live in the middle of London. We wanted a quite weekend away, but needed to be in the area for a commitment on Sat. night. We went down to the Surrey area on Fri. and stayed here on Fri night. Even though we got in late the staff was absolutely wonderful, opened the kitchen and served us professionally just next to the fire in the "living room". Food was just beautiful. Next time we will get there in time for dinner. In the morning we were treated to ducks walking by the windows as we ate our breakfast. The setting was wonderfully tucked away down a country road. Our bedroom was large, spacious with a delightful bathroom. The staff was extremely accommodating. We will definitely go back here many times when we just need to get out of the city.

“Close to Gatwick”

Excellent spot to stay if using Gatwick. Beautiful grounds and accomodations. Restaurant is good.

“Wonderful visit”

Wonderful, very small, incredibly intimate with extremely attentive staff. Can't wait to go back. Food and drink were incredible.

Hotel is lovely and very handy to Gatwick airport. Restaurant is a bit pretentious.
