Adults, children AND teenagers will find plenty to do here-special and excellent facilities all round in beautiful surroundings. Lovely and spacious rooms with King sized beds, huge bathroom with bath AND separate shower. Very quiet. Beautifully furnished. We love the 19th hole bar and restaurant-casual and reasonably priced but the hotel also had a superb formal restaurant. We came back as we had hosted our daughters wedding here 3 years previously and couldn't fault it. Stunning gardens and scenery. Oh-and incidentally-you can play golf!!!!

I took my husband and toddler son to the Runnymede hotel for a weekend and we had a great time. There aren't too many family friendly spa hotels in the greater London area and we'd not been here before, but the staff were excellent and very welcoming and there was plenty to do for both us adults and my son. The quality of the food in the restaurants was very good also.

Excellent value for money. Great location as a base for surrounding area (Windsor & Eton) and central London, which is a single 40 minute overland rail journey to Waterloo. Whilst rooms are on the small side the bed was comfortable.
Free swimming pool and leisure facilities are a bonus as is the large free car park.
The hotel even left in our room an unexpected bottle of wine, chocs, fruit and a card for my wife's birthday which the room maid must have organised. Nice touch.
Would certainly recommend

I needed somewhere to stay in Guilford as I was attending a wedding the following day and wanted to arrive refreshed. I liked that this was a spa hotel and looked forward to relaxing in the pool. My experience went beyond what I could of hoped for. Altho the pool was small I was fortunate enough to have it more or less to myself with my teenage son ( there was only ever one other person around in the two hours we spent swimming, using the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna). We followed this up with quick bite to eat in the restaurant (chicken goujons and chips which were really tasty) before retiring to our room to snuggle and watch TV. During the evening there was a wedding reception but this in no way interfered with our stay and as we were on the 2nd floor we were not disturbed in any way. In the morning we had another hour in the spa before returning to have a continental breakfast in room whilst getting ourselves ready for the wedding.
