Large & conmfortable hotel with pleasant gardens aPosted Jan 19, 2015 on Hotels.com
The hotel has old rooms and new rooms in extensions, which I stayed in. Fairly spacious and well apointed. Public areas all very smart and varied. Interesting gardens around the hotel. Can't comment on restaurant as I didn't use it.

Don't forget to say sorryPosted Jan 16, 2015 on Hotels.com
Booked this late afternoon (and paid in full) on day of stay. When I arrived that evening, staff initially couldn't find my booking. Next morning they tried to charge me for room. Whilst in both cases they did eventually sort it out, I was left feeling it was my fault. A simple "sorry" would have made me feel a lot better about the "service".

Late break after daughters weddingPosted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
Very little staff around. Pool shut early. Not offered a table dinning room- full up.

Lovely property in the English CountrysidePosted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
Made a one night visit en route to the coast. Lovely property nestled deep in the English countryside. Beautiful grounds complete with wild pheasants. Food in the restaurant was fantastic, and the accommodations were perfect for my needs. Would highly recommend.

Rooms need an upgrade. Stunning buildingPosted Dec 4, 2014
Rooms are due a refurb for sure. Very good looking venue and staff were really friendly. Very thin bedroom walls, very thin.

OK but would expect better for price.Posted Nov 13, 2014 on Hotels.com
Wotton House is a very nice venue with good facilities (The spa and gym are very good). As a hotel, its main selling point however is the building itself. The rooms are OK but looking tired, the food is OK, but would expect better. Breakfast is average. Purely as a hotel it's overpriced, but if you're happy paying the extra to be in a nice building, stay here but don't expect to be able to get a mobile signal in any part of the hotel!

Beautiful grounds & pleasant stay at Wotton House.Posted Nov 11, 2014 on Hotels.com
The wait staff at the restaurant and for room service were very pleasant. Front desk and reception also helpful. Accommodations were nice. Comfortable bed, great water pressure. I had superior room and if was very nice with a view to the garden. The price was high though for Saturday night (1/2 for other nights).
