This is a great place for vacationing. Lassen park and Lake Alminor are reason enough to go. People are friendly and there are many dining options.

Though it was first day in June spring, never mind summer, had still to arrive in Chester .However we got a very warm welcome from Mannie at the reception desk and had an interesting chat with Chuck, the owner, over breakfast. We therefore left Chester with pleasant memories of a comfortable, well appointed hotel with friendly staff

“Well worth the price”

Located in the center of Chester, CA., this motel is close to an excellent restaurant, the Red Onion Grill, which houses Dave Brubeck's bar which was purchased by the owner many years ago.

“Staying in the Mountains”

Very quiet, quite comfortable. Staff is very helpful and we would stay there again.

“Will stay again when visiting Lassen”

The only issue I had with this hotel had to do with other guests. And that was the fact that people tend to slam their doors early in the morning and do not think of others.

Nice, clean room. No swimming pool or in room microwave.

newer motel, clean rooms etc. not close to anything, have to drive for meals etc. ploor continental breakfast, not worth it! no pool, spa, or anything on site---just a room!

The hotel is brand new (so new that our GPS pilot didn't show it ...), and it's in excellent condition. The staff is friendly, the place is maintained very well and clean. Great stay, I'd go there again any time. Helmut
