Nice exterior, disappointing rooms

Posted May 30, 2015
Pros: Exterior is nice.
Cons: Updated and more comfortable furniture, including beds, watersaver toilet, pillows, bedding.
Location: Location, ok, but had to drive into town, too far to walk with no sidewalks.
Had to call house phone to check in and check out, not always some one at desk. Room furniture worn and dated, chairs very uncomfortable (zero padding under fabric seat), 2 VERY small pictures over beds (different sizes), otherwise bare white walls. Breakfast - minimal.

Hotel close to Town

Posted May 26, 2015
Pros: The bathrooms were roomy and clean!
Cons: The AC worked...but it could have been better.
Location: Within walking distance, the shops are nearby so no vehicle is needed. Though, the town has plenty of public parking that is FREE!
Excellent two night stay with no loud people or music or any smell of cigarette smoke!

nice hotel close to downtown. good staff

Posted May 18, 2015
we arrived and wanted to have some wine we had brought in our room. I asked the desk person for a place to buy wine glasses (we forgot ours) She said they may have some and came back with them for us saving me a trip to a store.

OK for a Work Overnight

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Cons: More helpful front desk personnel when they make a mistake.
I needed a place to stay due to a work appointment early the following morning. The lobby area was welcoming and the staff was pleasant to start. I booked this stay through Expedia and paid prior to arrival. When the staff person checked me in an swiped my card, he noted that there seemed to be a problem with the Expedia booking. He said it happens a lot so he would just check me in as if I had booked through them and cancel the previous reservation. Later after he was replaced by a night shift person, around 11 pm, the night shift person called my room to tell me that I had 2 reservations and would be charged a second night stay if I did not cancel. I told him what happened but he was not helpful. He explained that he could not do anything and I would have to contact Expedia. I stayed up until midnight getting this corrected and actually Expedia called the hotel front desk directly and told the night shift person to cancel the most recent reservation. Ultimately I was only charge the one night but I had to do all the work for a problem the front desk person created. This was not helpful.

A Gem in Gold Country

Posted Apr 5, 2015
The staff was friendly and welcoming, greeting us warmly every time we walked in the front door! The room was nice and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was the typical motel buffet, but adequate. We would stay again on a return visit.

Really nice hotel!

Posted Mar 25, 2015
Location: This is about 15-20 minutes from the Plymouth fairgrounds. We were there for Challenge of Champions HSR and there were many rodeo families there.
I would only comment on a couple very minor things: Parking is tight for a double cab long bed truck, but it can be done! I wish there was a waffle maker for the breakfast. The walls are not very insulated. Good thing I sleep with ear plugs. Overall it was beautiful, CLEAN, and VERY NICE! I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
