Friendly accommodation at the end of a trackPosted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: friendliness and room
Cons: Track and noise
Very kind owners waited up for us as we were very late getting there. Only thing we didn't realise was it was situated down a long track and with a low skirt on our car it did cause problems getting there. Our room was above a stable and there were donkeys around early morning. The room and breakfast was fantastic.

Very nice hotel for the pricePosted Nov 9, 2014
The room was a basic twin with en-suite and very clean. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning, which was a nice touch. Really can't find anything to complain about for the price.

A lovely night away......Posted Oct 21, 2014
We booked this place because we were going to the NEC the next day, and it was dead handy for that, being only 10 minutes drive away. It is located down a tiny potholed lane, which makes getting there fun and memorable, but once you arrive it is charming and quaint. With the rooms located above a working stable yard, you feel like you are in the country, and although being close to the M42 motorway, this didn't bother us or keep us awake at night. The welcome on arrival was pleasant and nicely understated, and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely stay again if in the area, if for no other reason than it being unusual and having character.

InterestingPosted Oct 18, 2014
Need a Sat Nav because it is down a long dirt road. Interesting being woken by donkeys braying (although not to early) Super continental breakfast. We will use them next year if possible

money value in a working farmyard; authentic !Posted Jun 11, 2014
Pros: the in-room breakfast, was good, timeous, substantial, fresh and tasty. top marks !
Cons: the access road could be improved . but really it is nothing to complain about
Location: the name E-or comes from the call of the 27 donkeys who live there I should think !
good value for money; check booking search engines for last-minute availability and prices

very much enjoyed my stayPosted May 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Friendly proprietor, and a lovely complimentary breakfast. Woke to the sound of braying donkeys, and a dog to stroke in the yard on the way out...which is a perfect antidote to the humdrum of Business. The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal is just out back, and although right next to the M42 it is very rural. Bumpy road to get there adds to the adventure.
