Very convenient

Posted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: Very convenient and well priced.
Cons: For me, nothing.
Organised an overnight stay for a meeting the following day. Had no real problems in finding the accommodation despite being down a unadopted road. Very comfortable and clean. Excellent continental breakfast in the morning. A very easy relaxing welcome. A must for horse lovers. Had a very interesting chat with the owner in his cosy office next to the stables before leaving. Very enjoyable stay and would stay again when back in the area.

nice

Posted Dec 22, 2014
Pros: Charming place
Cons: Signage from the main road
Lovely, clean rooms with excellent breakfast. Nice setting especially if you like horses. Was woken up by the donkey/horse kicking noise but this is not surprising as the rooms are over stables so didn't mind too much. Room was nice and warm. I felt safe and cosy. The bathroom was very nice and spacious. The place could do with a clear sign from the main road as it was a bit of a challenge to find.

Friendly accommodation at the end of a track

Posted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: friendliness and room
Cons: Track and noise
Location: NEC
Very kind owners waited up for us as we were very late getting there. Only thing we didn't realise was it was situated down a long track and with a low skirt on our car it did cause problems getting there. Our room was above a stable and there were donkeys around early morning. The room and breakfast was fantastic.

Very nice hotel for the price

Posted Nov 9, 2014
The room was a basic twin with en-suite and very clean. Breakfast was delivered to the room in the morning, which was a nice touch. Really can't find anything to complain about for the price.

A lovely night away......

Posted Oct 21, 2014
We booked this place because we were going to the NEC the next day, and it was dead handy for that, being only 10 minutes drive away. It is located down a tiny potholed lane, which makes getting there fun and memorable, but once you arrive it is charming and quaint. With the rooms located above a working stable yard, you feel like you are in the country, and although being close to the M42 motorway, this didn't bother us or keep us awake at night. The welcome on arrival was pleasant and nicely understated, and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. Would definitely stay again if in the area, if for no other reason than it being unusual and having character.

Interesting

Need a Sat Nav because it is down a long dirt road. Interesting being woken by donkeys braying (although not to early) Super continental breakfast. We will use them next year if possible

E-or lodge is a little difficult to find in the dark but the owner answered the phone quickly and put me right. A sign at the turning after the bridge which shows up in car headlights would be helpful. The stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was served in the bedroom and there wasn't anywhere to sit except on the corners of the beds which was a little squashed and awkward but the breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

I love this place

Posted Sep 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
I went for the horse related activities and loved every minute. The owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Wish I could have stayed longer. Tip: it is a little tricky to find, particularly in the dark, so try to arrive in daylight.
