Okay hotel, but small

I've stayed at this hotel several times and it's an okay hotel, but I keep forgetting that the bathroom is a one piece tiny item. other than that, good for business. Close to subway and other stores.

Very decent, good service

Hotel with business atmosphere, many rooms, international guests. Overall very friendly service personnel except one of the front desk ladies (everyone else excellent). While generally clean, our first room had remainders of a balloon underneath the bed, likely from previous guests...

No Comforts, but passable

VERY small room, entire bathroom is a prefinished piece of plastic. Small working table. Bed was comfortable. Staff was terrific, very polite and helpful.

Good Suwon business location

For my first trip to Suwon, this is a good location. Has daily bus trips to / from several area business such as Bosch and Samsung. Hotel has decent wi-fi but separate routers for each floor location. You will need to access each as you move about. Lastly, go ahead and purchase the breakfast buffet option when booking. Aside from coffee shops, you end up having the breakfast each day before you begin work. Might as well pay up front.

Nice value hotel for business travelers

Pros: Convenient location and good value
Cons: I wish the limousine bus to the Incheon airport stopped there rather than taking a taxi to Hotel Castle.
Location: Very conveniently located. There is a restaurant alley in about 5 blocks from the hotel but most of the restaurant employees don't speak English
This is a clean business class hotel with a good value. This hotel is located in the center part of the town of Suwon and one of the limousine bus stops. The hotel is located within a walking distance from the restaurant alley and a couple of coffee shops within two blocks. Although Starbuck's web site does not tell you that there is a Starbucks, one of their stores is located within two blocks. Their buffet breakfast is marginal, so I suggest getting breakfast at A Twosome or Starbucks. The hotel staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. They even have pre-printed directions for the taxi drivers in Korean so that you can hand one of these directions to the taxi drivers since most of them don't speak English.

Excellent choice for a trip for either business or pleasure. Very close to major shopping area, restaurants (both Korean and Western style), and train or subway stations.

Great Location

ibis Suwon has a convenient location, easy access to most of venues in Suwon. Though the room was little small but adequate for business travel, one thing I like is their breakfast, lots of selections and very healthy.

Suwon Businessman's Hotel

Pros: Basic amenities - no frills The staff were incredible. So very welcoming and polite.
Cons: Ensure the items on the buffet are actually safe. The hash browns were terrible. Also change the listing for breakfast to 6:30 am (not 4:30 am).
Location: Plenty of local restaurants. IMAX cinema at Suwon train station. There's also a HomePlus (similar to Walmart) a few blocks away and a 7-11 store.
The staff were pleasant and VERY helpful. I can't write enough about how great the staff were. Breakfast buffet was mediocre and had the worst hash brown potatoes I've encountered in decades of traveling. The Indian foods with Naan and chickpea curry were tasty though. Room was exactly what was needed for business travel. Clean and quiet. Television remote control did not function to turn the tv on or off, but getting up to perform that trivial task wasn't a problem. The room literature showed that there is a breakfast available in the lobby from 4:30 am to 6 am for early risers, but when I arrived in the lobby at the appointed time, I was told that it has been canceled and that I should arrange something the day before if I needed breakfast extra early. Hotel is located about a 10 minute taxi ride from Suwon station. It might take less time with no traffic. Overall I would consider staying at the hotel again. It met my needs.
