This is a really pretty hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious and up-to-date. Hotel has a pretty fancy feel. And the gym was ok too (which is an accomplishment for hotel gyms in general). Service was top-notched. The hotel concierge, Lucky, went the extra mile to help my get a cab all the way to Shanghai. He deserves a huge shout out and is the reason I would recommend this property!

Room 1930. Very very old hotel. Reserved for double bed, given king bed. No coffee or tea in the room. Wifi not working. Open drawer and it's dusty.

Enjoyable stay!
We enjoyed the 3 nights at Courtyard. Service was excellent. Buffet breakfast was very nice having good varieties and quality in both Chinese and western foods. Hotel in a very convenient area with subway across the street and lots of eateries in the nearby Suzhou Center (shopping mall).

Stayed here while visiting a relative. Great central location which made it easy to get around Suzhou. Good selection of shops nearby and the subway entrance was a very short walk from the hotel. ( the subway is clean, efficient and great value for money). All staff were friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Suzhou

I book a room for three people, but only 1 set of toiletries provided. I doubt why hotel charged for extra guest fee in this manner. I called front desk for extra set. The next day, the housekeeping staff threw away the toiletries and served 1 set of toiletries again. First, not environmental friendly and even not practice all for three guest room. Air conditioner not functioned properly, feel hot most of the time. Not comfy in the stay.

Business hotel with personal touches!
This was one of my best hotel stay experience in China! Service was fantastic - we were greeted at breakfast one morning by a manager who asked how our stay was and if there was anything that needed improvement, so we mentioned that there was a slight gap in the shower door. When we returned to our room that night, the gap had already been fixed. They also sent a birthday cake to the room of one of our colleagues on her birthday. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, breakfast was plentiful each day, and the gym provided sufficient equipment for a good workout. The only recommendations I have are perhaps the hotel can provide pillows of different firmness as the current ones are a little too soft, and that the gym should provide disinfectant wipes so guests can wipe down equipment after use. Overall a 5-star experience.

Comfortable hotel within SIP
Comfortable hotel of sizeable room within SIP and opposite the Xinghai Square station on Metro Line 1. Was surprised not to find complimentary tea/coffee in the hotel room although there's an electric kettle. Had breakfast at a Starbucks nearby. There's also a local coffee joint in the building next to the hotel and a tea shop selling high grade tea leaves. Arrived too late to go to Zhouzhuang or Tongli water towns which are 1 hour/45mins drive away from Suzhou city and concierge suggested ShanTang Street which you can easily get to on the Metro Line 2 and there is no admission fees. You can try the different street food for a great cultural experience. We learned a valuable lesson - book your high speed rail ticket Online early and collect it at the railway station. If you booked your train to depart from Hongqiao Railway Station, be sure to arrive at least 2 hours earlier to collect your ticket as the ticketing queue is generally very long. Then buy your return ticket in advance immediately after you arrived in Suzhou. Had dinner at the DeYueLou Restaurant on the Jingji Lake which served delicious local fare but be prepared to wait as the queue is long. Mark He, the hotel concierge is most knowledgeable and helpful and gives good suggestions to places of interest, assisted in calling up restaurants to check table availability and gets you a taxi.

The hotel is very new and close to subway! The neighborhood is also safe and with many good restaurants around. The room is clean and quiet. I have a pleasant stay in this hotel with my family. The only downside is its distance to the old town. Fortunately, the subway station is just across the hotel.

This is a nice hotel in the newer part of suzhou, close to jinji lake and with a few good restaurants nearby. Right next to the subway station (Xinghai square). The rooms are nice,with european chinese and uk plug sockets.William gave me some advice on what tourist destinations to go to, useful as i was only there 2 days. The pool was ok but a little small,not great for swimming laps but otherwise fine,there is a sauna although there is no frosted glass so its a good thing it is on the 27th floor. I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. I had a slight problem with electrics in my room but it was fixed immediately. The lobby is on the 4th floor, handy to know before you check in. The staff speak perfect english which is refreshing. All in all a decent place to be if you are in suzhou for a few days
