Room was spacious and comfortable. Air didn’t seem to work so we open window and got cool for sleeping near morning. Shower was amazing as was breakfast buffet

Nice place to stay. Was excellent breakfast! Also we was glad to use swimming pool in the evening, but unfortunately there is too much chlorine in the water. It causes irritation and you cannot stay there for a long time.

Maritim, a great hotel on the river, near the old city, and if you're at the congress center next door, it's very optimal.

Overall the rooms are okay and I liked the location. But management of the hotel seems cheap and it was not a good experience because basic items were not available in all rooms. I booked a standard room and didn’t realize I wouldn’t have a coffee maker in the room because those are reserved for superior rooms (this was not advertised on the site). The hotel also charges €5 a day if you want to use the gym. Rooms are advertised as having AC but the AC does not work to actually cool the room. I expected better customer service and a more enjoyable experience from a four star hotel.

Dear Jamey,Thank you for your review. Our house has different room categories, which are also apparent when booking, we are sorry that this was not clear for you. We would have been happy to offer you a superior room on site as well. We do have to charge the gym seperately because of the German fiscal law. Sauna as well as the gym is not part of the Hotel costs, therefore it needs to be taxed with 19%. Our rooms have a ventilation system, which has just been completely renewed. Lovely hotel! Buffet breakfast was great and parking really convenient. Spacious room with great views. Beds were quite firm but ok found the feather pillows were a bit too flat for me. Great idea to receive a little treat if you opt not to have your room cleaned. Lovely clean pool area with plenty of towels. Felt cool at 26 degrees but fine once you were in ☺️ would definitely stay here again!

Terrible service we ever had. Room is okay, bed not comfortable, pillows are small, conditioner not working properly. Upon arrival we get 2 small bottles of water for 2 person for 2 days, it was nothing in the room, no coffee or tea. I ask on reception next day and they said we can buy another bottle of water for €4.00. I also ask for hot water and I was sent to the bar. In the room was just 1 small soap bar, no shampoo or anything else. I was told that they probably forgot, but nobody brings it. Room was not cleaned at all on the second day. Stuff was not polite. Some of them even rude.

This was a nice property. I have stayed at the Maritim in Frankfurt as well. The piano bar was good but opened later than we would have liked. Ulm is a nice quaint town.

Good hotel poor service.
Nice hotel, however I paid for a two queen bed room. Upon arrival i was informed the terms and conditions had changed at that the company. Hotels.com were advised of this change. This was not conveyed to me. The room had a sofa bed and 1 queen bed. Not what I had paid for and requested. I felt the service was poor both from Hotels.com and the hotel with me in the middle. The room was not cleaned as they did not have the staff to clean it. Offered a free drink instead of cleanliness? It is a good thing we have not just come out of a pandemic.

We loved everything about this hotel. Visited in August 2022 with my son, husband and parents. The hotel is very nicely decorated and has a beautiful pool and spa area that is kid friendly. The hotel is near the river with a walking and biking path that leads to many places to eat and shop. If I am lucky enough to go back to Ulm, I will stay at this place again.
