Great location in a beautiful city.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The temperature in the room. Adequate blankets.
Location: All of the great things in Sydney are within walking distance.
For a five-star hotel, it was very disappointing that -in the middle of winter- there was no heat in the room and the king-size bed had a twin-size blanket. This made for a cozy night, however wasted space in the bed.

Not Five Star

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Cons: Entire interior of the room (minus the bathroom)
With all due respect this Hotel is NOT 5 star. Outdated furniture and room furnishings. Only nice thing about the room was the bathroom.

Perfect Place to Stay Near the Rocks

Convenient to trains, buses and ferries the Amora hotel was an excellent place to stay. Check out Burramundi's over the road for a superb breakfast at a small price.

Grest hotel in CBD

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Spacious room , some with a balcony and beach chair and table. Good security. great location.Staff very helpful. Nice atmosphere.
Location: Located in the CBD and handy to most things. China town an easy 25 minutes walk away. Rail station allows access to many places outside the CBD.
Clean and tidy , centrally located and very close to Wynyard railway station. Conveniently located to the CBD with most amenities and places of interest only a short walk away. Friendly staff with nice decor. Small supermarket right next door.

Ordinary view, weird position of TV cabinet

Posted Jun 16, 2014
View is very ordinary, the elevator is hard to operate. The position of the TV is a bit strange. Clean room and friendly staff.

great bathrooms!!

Posted Jun 15, 2014
was fully booked out and we had recieved a great rate on a secret room, so were on level 4 looking at... concrete fire escape! definently worth the $60 for access to the Jamison club, lots of canapes, beer and wine in the evening, and full buffet breakfast in the morning with beautiful views. have stayed before and will return again as the king beds and HUGE bathrooms are to die for! staff are always wonderful too.
