Lovely quiet hotel central to everything.Posted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: The blackout blinds make for a great nights sleep.
Location: Things to nearby, The Rocks is just down the road, Wynyard Station next door, a short walk to Darling Harbour and the Pitt Street Mall.
The Amora Jamison is a wonderful place to stay in Sydney, the hotel staff are the best I have come across, nothing is a trouble to them. This hotel is in a great position it is so central to everything in Sydney. It is quiet, the rooms are a good size and beds the best I have slept in. I have stayed here three time now and can't fault it.

What's the fuss all about!Posted Nov 28, 2013
Cons: That the manager responds so promptly to the less than favourable reviews is an indication of his sincere wish to make improvements. Kuddos!
Location: Everything, Great location, shopping on Pitt and George streets, Circular quay, the Rocks, Ferries, good restaurants.
Great location, nice lobby, very friendly and professional staff Had a problem with a dysfunctional iron, a new one brought promptly to our room. Great amenities. Close to everything. We had a room on the 25th floor. Good size, nice views. Only thing didn't like, were the doubled mirrored double doors leading into the bathroom. Though asthetically pleasing, when you walk into room, functionally, - kinda dumb. Carpet a little dirty in travelled areas. Overall a great experience!

Expected more from a 5 star hotel. Lighting was really dim. Made getting ready to go out difficult. Bed looked like someone had been sleeping in it, pillows were flat and uncomfortable. For the price we were situated on a really low level, could get a better hotel for this price. Really disappointing.

never againPosted Nov 26, 2013
Cons: there is so much that can be improved in this hotel
Location: its in the heart of Sydney so the choices are endless
I am sorry to say but for a 5 star hotel it was very upsetting. The dinner was very disappointing from over cooked salmon to setting up their breakfast tables whilst we were still eating (830 pm). breakfast was again a disappointment. the room it self looked like it was half finished and that was the same for the fitness area. the only way I would recommend this hotel was if they said it was a 2 star at best

Dusty roomPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: The front desk staff
Cons: the amount of dust in the carpet
The room had a border of dust all along the skirting boards, and the dooner cover was torn. Why was the TV no position in front of the bed? instead it was in the cupboard. Alot of dust and the furniture looked a bit worn.
