Old Wharf Converted to HotelPosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Better work-out facilities than most hotels. Indoor swimming pool is attractive.
Cons: The large exercise machine needs some lubrication, so that it runs smoothly
Location: The Blue Hotel is on Sydney Harbor, about a 20-25 minute walk to the Opera House, Circular Quay, and the Rocks. There are restaurants across the stre

Great ChoicePosted Nov 16, 2013
Pros: We were treated like the place was in business to cater to our needs.
Location: The Hop On Hop Off Bus has a pick up across the road. Walking distance to the Royal Botanical Gardens, Opera House, and ferries, trains and buses.
Classy, intimate, elegant but not ostentatious. Staff is outstanding. Everything is customer oriented. Location is on the pier with yachts on one side and the navy on the other. Fabulous assortment of restaurants and outdoor dining share the building which is the original wool handling warehouse from the turn of the century. Room was large and well appointed. Picked the hotel because it sounded interesting and it was!

Absolutely AmazingPosted Nov 6, 2013
Pros: Loved the attempt to retain the original features of the wharf. I stayed in the lowest level price range, but was pleasantly surprised with my view.
Cons: Lighting - really don't like when at hotel only has 'mood' lighting. Especially when getting dressed or trying to read.
Location: Just out of the city, so away from the hustle and bustle. Top quality restaurants as part of the complex. Pack the walking shoes - Sydney is hilly!
It was my first stay in Sydney for pleasure and picked the Blue hotel based on its location on the water and the quality restaurants. It was a perfect choice. 10-15 stroll to the Westfield Sydney and Shopping Mall. Easy access to Circular Key by walking through the beautiful botanic gardens or along the foreshore walking track. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. At first Room Service seemed a little overpriced, but once it was delivered it was a price I was happy to pay.

Gorgeous Hotel in beautiful locationPosted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Staff service, rooms and atmosphere.
Cons: lighting in the main bedroom
Location: Location is great there's the original Harry Cafe de Wheels right on your doorstep and many trendy pubs and cafe's just across the road.
Situated in the classic Sydney suburb of Woolloomooloo the Blue Hotel is an old converted Shipping yard and as such boasts beautiful traditional shipping architecture. The rooms are spacious clean and very comfortable. The staff are the best in Sydney. Would recommend to anyone.

Nice Hotel close to city.Posted Nov 1, 2013
Pros: I liked the fact that we were not in the city, but could walk or get a bus there easily, and also being on water is great for country people!
Cons: Maybe the bathrooms could have a shelf to put "stuff" on, and make use of all the space. An extra chair at desk if eating in room.
Location: Everything is nearby eg. opera house, art gallery etc. Lovely restaraunts at your finger tips.
WE had a very enjoyable stay here, with a nice large room. Relaxing position.I had been in hospital and needed to rest and be quiet. It fitted the bill.

Great hotel close to city centre.Posted Oct 28, 2013
Cons: Can't think of a thing.
Location: Great location, very central and close to the water, so just a little cooler in the summer. Close enough to the city to walk.
The hotel's 5 star-rating is well-deserved. From the moment the taxi drove up the staff was welcoming and helpful, the facilities were great, including the minibar in the room. The air-conditining in my room was broken, and they moved me to another one without any fuss. Breakfast was great as well, and will all the restaurants right around the corner, this is an ideal place to stay.

Excellent location! Friendly staffPosted Oct 27, 2013
A great location close to everything. Amazing dining only metres away. Has awesome cruiser bikes for free usage. Rooms are beautiful. It can be a bit noisy from the naval base though.
