Was very happy with the hotel. Staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and very nice. The hotel was convenient to everything, close to train station, buses, eateries and only a short walk into the city. Would definitely stay again.

The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. The room was lovely and the food in the cafe for breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh orange juice. The only improvement I would suggest is having a ramp at the entrance for people who have trouble with stairs. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Sydney.

Pros: The room was lovely, quiet, and the beds comfortable. The in-room facilities were great (we had a kitchenette in our room). Very clean. Pleasant decor. Staff were polite, pleasant, and very helpful. Cons: Not accessible friendly. We had a pram and large suitcase and found it challenging to get where we needed to. There are several steps inside the front entrance that can’t be avoided - there is no wheelchair access. Staff were very helpful with helping us lift the pram in. Doorway to room angled to create a narrow entry. It was really difficult to get the pram in and out.

It was ok. The parking is a hassle but the staff were very friendly about it. The beds aren’t the best but the room was overall ok. The cafe downstairs is very convenient. Would stay again as close to Oxford Street.

One of my favourite hotels in Sydney - a gem
Third time I have stayed here, third time I have been glad I did. A great little hotel with good sized rooms and very clean. And the rooms are quiet and allow for a peaceful stay. Friendly staff who make it an easy stay every. I stayed at another hotel in the city recently and it was awful. It made me wish I had just stayed at the Hotel Stellar instead,

Clean, attractive hotel located close to Central Station and Hyde Park. Helpful, friendly staff and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Reasonably priced given its central location.

It is an old building and running down although it has been renovated some parts need to be improved such as door closer noisy, bath room door was hard to open for kids and older people and finally the noise from someone walking upper level and it makes you nightmares!
