“A Nice End to a Wonderful Trip”

We checked into this hotel for one night at the end of our 3 week vacation. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and we were able to check in promptly. In the morning we were able to keep our bags in the lobby (we also had one of our party of 6 watching them) after check-out time but before we went to the airport.

“Wonderful Experience in Sydney”

At first glance we thought this Hotel may be one of those older, half modernized buldings. It was beautifully done. Everything worked and was very pleasing to the eye. The rooms were large, the hotel was small so it was not a crowded mess. The staff was gracious and attentive, we had a wonderful stay. Although the rooms were pretty quiet we did hear just a little noise from the hallway in our room but hardly ever heard the other guests in their rooms. The kitchenette was wonderful and using it saved us money. If we go back to Sydney we will definately stay here again.

The Best Western Stellar was a very well location of all the city atractions. yOU CAN WALK for allof the beutifull Sydney. The rooms have plenty of spaces and a convenient kitchenet

“Great location and service”

From the moment we stepped out of the cab and a manager came out to grab our luggage, we were very impressed with the service this convenient hotel offered. And, the location was ideal. We were able to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted.

“Cost effecient - Friently employees - Great location”

When you find a room that is cost effeciebt often there are disadvantages. At guest registration they inquired if we were new to the area. We said YES - we are first timers. They immediately provided mapes with their location marked and several suggestions for using the great public transporattion. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. Internet although not free was reasonably priced, and quite fast. In general we had a great experience. If you have a problem with steps, it is important that there are 2 steps with a railing to reach the lobby. After that there is an elevator to the room. Also if you sign up for the breakfast it is on a lower lever without elevator service, but the steps are wide and very gradual. Hint - when using a cab from the airport the driver may know the hotel as the "Stellar" not Best Western. We loved the Hotel Stellar.

Perfect location, close to everything, in my opinion, there's no place I would rather stay.

“What a nice surprise!”

What a nice surprise! At first I didn't think a Best Western would exceed my expectations but... this one did. The staff was so helpful and sweet. They let me store a piece of luggage while I traveled to the Great Barrier Reef for a few days -- that saved me a hassle and money. Yay! The location is wonderful! Only down side...the internet connection was too slow and not worth the price so I would skip that.

“Sydney - good location, good value”

Small hotel, clean, recently remodeled. Rooms are nice and redecorated. Only the exterior and elevator areas give you a clue that the hotel is older. Room had a mini kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee pot, sink & counter) and little dining table & chairs. Staff was excellent - very helpful! with info about sightseeing and getting around.

“Clean, good location, and price”

Very well located - walking distance to the CBD and attractions (without city prices), and on a major bus route. Very clean and comfortable rooms, though halls and elevator could be cleaned up a bit. I would stay here again, and recommend it to others on a budget, but not wanting a backpackers accommodation.
