Great location for Sydney CBD and Botanical Garden

Posted Apr 15, 2015
Pros: Nice views, good staff, nice rooms.
Cons: Internet should be free! $15/day for an internet connection which in these times is over the top. The gym is very small. Breakfast is crazy expensive.
Location: It's a great spot on the water and walking distance from the opera house and botanical gardens without being in the bustle of downtown.
I have stayed at Blue a few times. It's an old wharf building converted into a hotel and apartments and is an impressive structure. It's not downtown but very close while also well positioned for getting to the eastern suburbs (Bondi, Coogee, etc.)

Convenient but dark and tired rooms

Posted Apr 6, 2015
It was a convenient spot for to lay your head after a night out in Potts Point. The room was dark and a little tired. Some of the lights were blown. The hotel needs a refresh.

Issues

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Cleanliness, air conditioning, tired rooms (chipped paint etc)
Cons: The above
Issues with air conditioning (room freezing cold and could not be made warmer), had to move to another room which had the same issues so were provided with 2 portable heaters. Staff were lovely and apologetic, gave us a bottle of shiraz for the trouble. Roof was leaking, was told they would provide comp bfasts which appeared on the bill at time of checkout. Very tired rooms but hotel will be undergoing renovations shortly which are badly needed. Loved this hotel in the past so hope it improves.

The nicest hotel close to the city

Posted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: All the little details that said class. The blue highlights and the sheer spaciousness of the room. What a delight!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Boyd Charlton Pool a stroll away with views of the city and the harbour. kings Cross just a walk up the hill. A lovely walk around The harbour.
Such a relaxed atmosphere with the very best facilities and attention to detail. this experience was amazing, with restaurants below, bars in and across the road. A perfect way to chill and still be able to shop or just do nothing at all.

Relaxing with a wonderful view

Posted Feb 3, 2015
Pros: The history of it and the location and its style.
Cons: Just a tiny issue in that more milk should be on hand in case you want more then 1 cuppa each.
Location: Its a great location as its near enough to go any where in Sydney and yet away from the craziness that the CBD can be sometimes. Great restaurants .
My second stay and on this occasion, stayed longer in our room this time and just pulled up a chair and opened the window. Enjoyed a glass of wine and watched the world go by.
