close to all the places we could visit.

Pros: location mostly.
Cons: Really wanted and needed a bath after walking all day but there was no plug for the bath.
Location: location is good if you're interested in asian stuff. We enjoyed the sushi train. We did the free city tour which was very informative and fun.
Sydney is an amazing place and we would visit again to see more. The city free tour was definitely worth it. We learned a lot from it. It was informative and fun. Was worth the 3 hours of walking. The Opera house and Sydney harbour bridge and surrounding areas has fascinating atmosphere. We took a boat trip to Manly beach and was fabulous. A must do thing. The Queen Victoria building was mind blowing but needed time to see more. The free bus service was great at the end of one of our days there.

Nice hotel in city center.

Overall a nice hotel. Good service from staff and room was clean and comfortable. The only negative was that there was a lot of car noise for most of the night. Within walking distance to all major attractions and shopping.

Pros: Spacious room and bathroom. Effective heating system, and very friendly helpful staff.
Location: Close to the theatre for the Lion King
Easy walk to Central railway station. On bus routes including free bus to Circular Quay. Abundance of eating places within easy walking distance, as is a shopping centre with a supermarket.

Only OK

Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: The bed and pillows were comfortable.
Cons: The room needs to be updated, swollen and cracked wood on the base of the bathroom door, and bathroom door lock broken.
Location: Location is pretty good, right in Haymarket. Spoilt for choice in relation to restaurants and close to markets and shops.
The hotel from the outside looks a bit grotty as does the entry area. The staff were pleasent, and I found them helpful. The room itself needs refurbishment, looks a bit tired. The bathroom, was only ok, with a shower curtain that didn't stop water pooling on the floor next to the shower/bath and soaking the bathmat. Was a bit annoyed to be woken by the window cleaner at about 8.00am banging on the window, when check out is not until 10.00am I would think that it be reasonable to assume that people may be trying to grab a little bit of a sleep in.

Great location, lovely room

This hotel is on Sydney CBD's main street. 5 minute walk to central train station, 2 mins walk to paddy' s markets, surrounded by shops, cafes etc. Under 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour. Costs around $30 for a taxi from the airport and hotel can organise a shuttle service too. I shared a twin room with a friend, the room was big enough for both of us and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only downside was it was a bit noisy, but is to be expected being on a main street. Overall a great hotel, so central and close to everything - highly recommended
