Centrally located hotelPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: New onsite restarant.
We found this hotel to have a great location and is accessible by foot to the entire city. The staff was very friendly and eager to please. The restarant onsite is terrible. We scheduled the breakfast buffet which starts at 7AM. We arrived at 7:15 and found the coffee and food cold. A rice dish was on the buffet which was apparently left over from the night before. While we were there a guest returned the rice dish for having something other than rice in it. Hotel management was aware of the situation and refuned our money. This is an efficiency apartment, There is no room service and you cannot even get a bucket of ice on the property. Kitchenette does have a fridge though. Overall though good value for your money.

Great hotel close to CBDPosted Jan 28, 2014
Amazingly friendly staff are more than happy to help with anything you need. Just a word of warning - do not stay for the breakfast offered. It is not prepared by the hotel, instead by a not-so-great restaurant in the hotel building. :)

Sydney centre hotelPosted Jan 23, 2014
Cons: Security box/safe
A good location for seeing central Sydney, especially Darling Harbour. Room was good, even on George St just above hotel entrance the street noise was not too bad (or maybe it was the beer that helped!). Only negative was no security safe in room or at desk. Not sure about hotel food as did not eat there, you do not need to with many other choices around

Great location, heart of China town.Posted Jan 12, 2014
Great place to stay, 5min from Central Station, 20 min walk to Darling Harbour. Stayed on the first floor, worried it might be noisy at night but it was fine. Staff very helpful, taxi to airport $52,not $30 as suggested.

Pros: proximity to town
Cons: Provide free Wifi.
Very close to China Town, Central Station and Paddy's Market. Easy walk to Darling Harbour, Circular Quay and CBD. Friendly staff and good facilities. the only downside was having to pay $25 per day for Wifi.

Awesome place!Posted Dec 16, 2013
I stayed for one night in the two bedroom apartment with a few friends. We all thought the apartment was neat and surprisingly very cosy. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Thanks!

Nice hotel with great locationPosted Dec 16, 2013
Pros: Location--convenient access to just about everything.
Cons: More reasonably priced internet access; and an exercise room.
Location: Great location--downtown close to lots of restaurants and shopping. Easy access to the rest of Sydney via the nearby Central train station.
I stayed at the BreakFree on George for over a week on business. It's a very nice hotel with a great location. The hotel is located downtown on the edge of Chinatown, and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Central train station. The staff are very nice and helpful, and the rooms are quite comfortable. There is a fair amount of street noise, which didn't really bother me; however, others might be more sensitive to it. Internet access is fairly pricey (compared to what I'm used to), but Starbucks and free Wifi are across the street. I did not eat at the hotel restaurant as there are many, many excellent other options within a stone's throw of the hotel.
