Great location close to the city and nightlife

Pros: - Price was affordable compared to others - Close to surry hills, nightlife and restaurants - walk to Moore Park - walking distance to CBD
Cons: - No pay tv/foxtel that we could find - Found the bed a little hard compare to other beds we have slept in.
Had a very nice stay. Went to the Italian restaurant underneath (Baccomatto), the food was lovely and great for a special occasion. Hotel room was neat, clean and of a good size with great complimentary toiletries.

Pros: Great hot water, location
Cons: Needs cleaners to go from top to bottom, and find a way the restaurant to empty there bottles in a more quite way
The couch was uncomfortable, TV very low in lounge area, first thing very morning bottle noise being empty in bins. Had a late night and put on the door please do not disturb sign and around 11am cleaner was trying to get in. Room clean only were it needs to be but all other areas has been touched for ages. Best part was the closest were I had to be and had great hot water for showering day and night for the three days that I was there. I have stayed in much more rated hotels and most time straggled with hot water when showering.

Weekend in Surry Hills

Pros: Location
Cons: Room décor due for an overhaul
Location: Easy walk into Surry Hills, the City and Paddington
Excellent location for City and Surry Hills. Close to Museum station. Helpful staff.

Easy 15min walk to Pitt Street mall

We were expecting a queen/king bed or even a double but we didn't expect 2 single beds in our room for a couple and weren't told what room we'd be getting when we purchased the secret room deal but we enjoyed our stay. It was a busy weekend. It was about 10mins walk from Museum Station and about 15mins to Pitt Street Mall. About 2mins up the street is the busy Oxford St.

Central Motel

Pros: Stayed before and it was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Free Wifi
Location: Close to cafes and to entertainment centre, china town, darling harbour
Motel was clean and neat and central for what we were attending. Staff helpful. Room quite. Car park was tight though for a bigger car.

Slightly out of main tourist area

Pros: Good base
Location: Loved Dmitris pizza place on Crown Street - as middle aged couple felt slightly out of place going in but really friendly and good food
Perfectly good hotel and only a reasonable walk or bus/train ride from main attractions Bus routes to Bondi/Coogee at end of road and only a short walk to trains or free bus in CBD

Fab hotel close to city

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel because we had a wedding to attend to in sydney and we enjoyed every minute of it...The hotel was very clean and the staff were always available to speak too if need be. The only downfall was our bond I was told different stories on when I would receive it...I still don't have it yet...this is the first time I've experienced something like this as normally other hotels I've stayed at we receive the bond at the time of checkout. ..apart from that we loved it...I would recommend it to my family and friends.

Reception staff was rude. Not helpful disorganised.. Had paid through expedia or would have made a refund and nor stayed for all 3 nights.

Another Bad Customer Service Experience

Pros: Good Location and the Facilities are OK.
Cons: This is not the first time the Customer Service has been poor this is an area of their business that needs a lot of improvement.
My wife and I booked for two nights at the Cambridge Hotel one of the nights was paid for by my wife's employer and one night paid for by us personally. When checking out after the first night we advised the staff member that we were booked in for another night and would it be possible to stay in the same room the staff member told us that No this was not possible. And that our luggage would be moved to another room before check in of our 2nd night. We were given the Room No. 302 for our 2nd night which was organised by a Duty Manager. When I went back to check in after 2pm the Duty Manager was not in shift and we were given room. 709, I said to the staff member at Reception that we told in the morning by a Duty Manager we would be in room 302 he said and these were his words well your not it is 709. I said will our luggage be in that room he said should be if not just ring and we will try and find it. I think some of the staff members at this Hotel could learn that they work in the Hospitality industry and as such there role is all about Customer Service a industry I have been in all my Career.
