The bed was comfortable and the room felt generally clean the main room could do with a paper waste bin and the drains had a bit of a smell to them but my overall stay was nice

Overall, the stay was nice, staff were helpful with our room. Walkable to multiple places but terrible for parking. There is no actual parking with hotel, but at parking garage near by. They charged $40 per day, which is alright but over the weekend the garage charges $15 per day, but because we didn’t move the vehicle on the weekend we were still charged the $40. Just beware if staying at this hotel with a car.

Rooms and foyer are nicely renovated. Elevator wasn’t working when I arrived but they had it back up and running quickly. Bed sheet was slightly stained. Overall the hotel was nice, and fine for a short stay.

Whilst our room was very comfortable and the location perfect for our upcoming event, the lift was not working and managing the stairs with luggage was not ideal

We enjoyed 2 nights at Veriu. The rooms are small but well appointed and the bathroom was light and functional. The foyer area has a nice ambience and the staff were as friendly and accomodating as I’ve come across.

The Veriu has a certain vibrant and friendly charm about it, brimming with positivity for those who stay do so because it offers a certain ambiance which cannot be matched elsewhere. I’ll most certainly miss the pleasant exchanges each day, all the staff were very friendly and courteous. The hotel is situated close to both Central and Museum train stations and surrounded by many eateries which proffer a selection of multicultural cuisines. Highly recommended.

Convenient & Comfortable
Appreciated the early check-in just after 12 as it rained that day. Gave me time to freshen up and have a comfortable change. The room size is decent for a solo traveller. The bed is comfy but a tad high for a shirt person like me. Otherwise it was clean and met my basic needs. Convenient to central Sydney.

The elevator wasn’t working on our first day of check in. So needed to carry luggage all the way up to the 3rd floor. Was fixed next day. Been to city multiple times and while came back, it was sooooo exhausting to climb up.

The hotel room was tiny, smelly, and the building was poorly outfitted, with an elevator that didn't work properly and curtains that didn't fully open. When we had issues the staff was not interested in helping us (with the exception of Karl at reception).

The so called "King" room was, in fact, two single beds with single matresses pushed together. It was comfortable, but not as advertised. The room had no enclosed hanging space, simply a hook on the wall for a few coathangers and noisy floorboards. The bathroom (no bath, just a shower) was so small that it was difficult to actually use it without bumping into things. The BR could have been larger, as there is ample extra space available, but a poor design outcome prevailed. Finally, the hotel's small, slow, dirty, creaking, solo lift has to be seen to be believed. It works, but only just. The hotel's nicely arranged bar and reception area on the ground floor is its best feature.

So disappointed with this hotel
When I discovered the room, very dark, sheets were not clean and the toilets were in very poor conditions. As I was staying for 5 nights, they were supposed to put me in another room, it never happened. Extremely disappointed by the lack of empathy and professionalism.

A decent location in Sydney within walking distance of central areas. The room was dated with questionable cleanliness and amenities. Bedding was poorly made and not fitted properly. Limited cleaning service across a 3 night stay as well was a bit disappointing.

Incredible location to experience downtown Sydney! Easy access to the train and key central attractions. Our room we recently remodeled and super clean…nice and cozy not a lot of extra space so be efficient with what and how you unpack. A/C worked great which is very important to me 🎉☺️🙏

The hotel has a good central location, the room was smal but clean apart from a slightly unpleasant smell from the drains in the bathroom. Only issue we had was with no signs being put up to warn of wet paint on the stair case!! I dint think we would stay here again.

Unfortunately the elevator was out of service during our stay. Other than that, the hotel was a decent place to stay. There are plenty of good restaurants / cafe nearby. The city Centre is also within reasonable walking distance or by train / light rail. There is also a bus route nearby towards Bondi beach. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful.
