Handy Location.Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Location, Modern, Tidy.
Cons: All good
Location: Darling Harbour, Westfield Shopping Centre and Tower, Great, shops cafes and Restaurants nearby.
We had a very nice time staying at Four Points. Location is walking distance to Darling Harbour, restaurants, and shopping. We were offered an discounted upgrade and excepted, and glad we did with awesome views over Darling Harbour. Although major construction was happening with the expansion of the hotel, it didn't interfere with comfort or service. If we are in Sydney again we will stay at Four Points and also look out for the Four points family when travelling else where.

worst experience at a hotelPosted Jun 29, 2015
manage to change room 3 times on the first day :( had a shower at the 1st room and the drain was blocked.got moved you a 2nd room but wrong configuration for beds so asked them to change the beds.went out for a conference, came back and all our luggage and stuff in the room was missing. rang front desk no help. so went to the front desk and discovered that instead of changing beds they decided to move us to the 3rd room. went to the 3rd room found our suitcases but missing all our clothes that were hanging in the wardrobe missing or not brought from the other 2nd room.ask to get our clothes but not in the 2nd room. eventually found our clothes in lost and found! seriously they threw out our clothes hanging up in the wardrobe without even asking. not happy. wasted an hour and a quarter of our time. by the time that got sorted the late night shopping in town had finished. worst experience ever at a hotel

Very coldPosted Jun 8, 2015
Pros: Staff are great
Cons: How cold the room was
Location: We went to Vivid, which was in easy walking distance
Our room was very cold, we advised the reception staff that the air conditioning wasn't working. They had someone come up and look into very quickly. Unfortunately it took hours to warm up. The staff did provide us with a extra blankets and a heater and really did all they could. The breakfast was probably a bit to expensive as well. We walked to Darling Harbour and had breakfast by the water in the sun for half the price.

Convenient locationPosted Jun 5, 2015
The hotel was an easy walk from Wynyard Station. Check in was prompt. Only a 10 minute walk to Darling Harbour. The room had a great view over Darling Harbour making it a perfect spot to watch the Vivid light show

Great LocationPosted May 25, 2015
Pros: Location, bet linen and service
Location: Darling Harbour (although the footbridge that used to be behind the hotel and would take one straight into Darling Harbour is closed now), City
It was not my first stay at this hotel. My husband and I were staying in the City for the SMH Half Marathon. Because of the hotel upgrade (the construction), the lobby has been moved to one of the shops. It has been done tastefully and is functional, in spite of the in-out traffic going through the check-in/out area. The check in went smoothly, we asked for a late check out and it wasn't a problem and the room was ready, too. We booked a city side room, there was construction going on below, but the noise was minimal. I love the bed linen, clean and pleasant to sleep in. It would be nice if the toilet bowls would be cleaned under the rim, as well - took me about 20 antibacterial wipes to clean it. We left our key card at the reception when we left for the run and when we returned, the lady at the reception organised a concierge to let us into the room and to check our identity. I appreciate their approach to security. Regarding the online booking process: there were two prices for the same room type with no clear difference. Would be nice if Expedia would make sure to state why one would pay more (about $20) for the same room.
