“Great Stay at the Four Points Darling Harbour”
This hotel is beautifully situated for everything you want to do in Sydney. A hop from the water taxis, walking to shopping, parks and dining. Next to Chinatown, right on Darling Harbour. Fabulous breakfast--make sure that it's included in the price otherwise you'll need a mortgage to pay for it. Friendly staff, comfy rooms. Can't wait to go back.
“Very centrally located.”
We enjoyed our stay at 4-points by Sheration in Sydney very much. It is centrally located and we can walk to all points of interest from 6-20 minutes. Surprisingly due to the location of the hotel, we didn't have to take public transportation at all. This also give us an opportunity to window shop as we walk to our point of interest. It is also so convienent to Sky City Casino. Vance
“GREAT HOTEL!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
This hotel was AMAZING!! We loved how close we were to the harbor. Lots of great restaurants were so close by. Great shopping just around the corner. We highly recommend this hotel! Darling Harbor is by far the best place to stay in Sydney, and this hotel is the best in the Harbor!
“Great Accomodations”
The hotel had a beautiful lobby. We were there in December and it was decorated beautifully. Our package included the hotel breakfast which was absolutely great. It had every breakfast food you could think of. We needed a rollaway bed for one of our rooms and the person at check in was so nice to help us get a slightly bigger room so it would have more room with the roll away. Our rooms had a view of Darling Harbour which was very nice. The concierge desk was extremely helpful. The Aquarium, eating and shopping in Darling Harbour are all just across the street.
“A perfect combination of ammenities, convenience, quality, and value”
A great hotel for Sydney. Prior to my stay at the Four Points at Darling Harbour, I stayed at another hotel alleged to be 5-star. Four Points at Darling Harbour was much nicer! The location is hard to beat, as it is on Darling Harbour and convenient to everything. The room was more than adequate in size, cleanliness and comfort. The gym was very spacious with ample weights, cardio, and a view of Darling Harbour. The final nice touch was a very friendly and attentive staff. You can't go wrong with the Four Points at Darling Harbour.
“Perfect location”
This hotel is at the center of everything in Sydney. Your hotel experience relies on the room you get. Some of the extras have steep prices, but it's hotel. The concierge desk is extmelyhelpful.
“Great location”
Spectacular location right on the harbour and walking distance of restaurants and ferries. very helpful concierge. Highly recommended.
“Great location”
The Four Points is right in Darling Harbour overlooking the Sydney Aquarium. It is convenient to the public ferry system, and is a longish but do-able walk from Circular Quay and the Rocks. Our room was on the harbour side with excellent views, but this side of the hotel is also next to an expressway, so it can be a little noisy. Internet fees in the business center were maybe a little expensive, but there is an internet cafe across the street. Parking is also expensive (AU$30/day!! as of Sep 2006) but at least the garage allows you to come and go as you please unlike daily parking in typical city garages. Aside from that, the room was at the better end of the comfortable scale as far as hotels go and was very tidy. The staff was friendly and we paid a reasonable price for staying right in the CBD.
“"Will definitely stay here again! The location is second to none!"”
Check in went very smoothly. We were able to check in early which was nice since our flight arrived in the morning. We were a bit disappointed in the size of our room (it felt like the king sized bed took up almost half of the room). However, all of this was quickly remedied by the fact that this hotel has an outstanding location. It's right on the water of Darling Harbor, by the Sydney Aquarium. One can pick up the Sydney Harbor Ferries by walking just five minutes from your hotel door to the dock. It's also very close to the IMAX theater and some wonderful restaurants on the water for a variety of budget ranges. The hotel is very close to the Queen Victoria Building and some great shopping along with being just a few blocks from the bus and train lines. Pay a bit extra for the harbor view rooms; the views at night make it well worth it!!! We largely went with this hotel because it was significantly less expensive than other hotels that were on Darling Harbor. I think this hotel is probably one of the better deals, based on the price and location, that one can find in Sydney! I would love to stay here again!!!
“would love to go back”
The conscierge was extremely helpful and reassuring when our shuttle bus to the domestic air terminal didn't turn up to take us to the one flight of the day to Ayers Rock.
