Close to Sydney's CBDPosted Mar 3, 2014
Pros: The area, Kirribilli is a lovely older suburb in Sydney's north which is just a short ferry ride to Circular Quay. the Opera House and the CBD.
Cons: Better hot water service for the morning rush.
Nice older building. One of the shared bathrooms on my floor was out of order, which caused a wait to use the facilities. The parking was a problem, despite being told by the reception staff that parking wasn't a problem. We had three rooms on three different floors despite asking that the rooms be close together. I slept well but my two friends didn't because of the noise levels. There was no hot water on the upper floors even at 7.30 am, the reception staff were unconcerned when told. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied enough for both meat eaters and vegetarians. The staff were friendly, polite and helpful.

Family WeekendPosted Dec 24, 2013
Pros: Comfortable and clean beds/rooms, Great location. Breakfast inclusion was a bonus
Cons: Optional ensuite. Shared facilities were ok (clean), but would be nice to have choice of ensuite. Limited parking on site, difficult on street
Location: Walking distance to ferries, harbour bridge, Luna Park and dining options. Great location for lower north shore attractions
Provided a basic accomodation option in great location.

Room cleaning need to be improved, even find bugs on the leaning. The floor makes a lot of noice when walking. Staff is nice and helpful. Walking distance to opara house and good breakfast are big plus

Nice hotel but not good value for moneyPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Spacious room, nice quiet setting, reasonably clean, and close to Luna Park & ferries.
Cons: En suite bathroom. Free (or inexpensive) parking area. The cost of the room should reflect the limitations mentioned.
Location: Close to Luna Park and local shopping area. Easy access to ferry to CBD
1) We did not expect this hotel to have a shared bathroom area - we obviously missed this at the time we were first looking at it. Although it is mentioned in the details about the hotel, the fact that it is mixed in with all the other information, ie not highlighted, it was easy to miss (at least for us). Most hotels these days, especially in the price range of this one, have ensuite bathrooms so the fact that this one does not, should be clearly mentioned, ie highlighted in their information. 2) The details indicate that there is free parking on the street but it does not mention the fact that from Monday - Friday there is a 2 hour limit. This should be clearly stated in the hotel details so that alternate arrangements can be made if necessary.
