Extremely comfortable overnight stay

Pros: Cleanliness of rooms and quietness of the spot despite being so centrally located. And the lovely cooked breakfast delivered to the room.
Cons: Nothing really
Location: Hotel backs onto Victoria Ave retail area, also 5 minutes drive from Castle Towers (movies, shopping, restaurants) and new bowling alley next door.
Just one night stopover to attend a 21st birthday party nearby. Stayed in Room 38 on ground level which was clean, modern and comfortable. Great cooked breakfasts - arrived piping hot, bang on time and fantastic quality - three egg omelette with spinach, tomato and mushrooms with a side of toasted ciabatta was super-good. Full cooked breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato,mushroom and toasted ciabatta also terrific. Surprising lack of noise on the premises considering the hotel is located along Windsor Rd backing onto the Victoria Avenue retail precinct. Didn't hear a thing and slept soundly. Queen bed was a very comfortable and all staff we came into contact with were lovely. Free parking - always nice. They also run a shuttle to surrounding business areas.

Wonderful customer service

We stayed for 13 nights at the Hills Lodge. The staff was very courteous and always helpful. We were able to borrow an electric converter since we forgot our own. The dinning facilities and pool are top quality! I would stay again!

misleading add

Initially disappointed as I thought that I had paid extra and was expecting a room with a balcony. Apparently the photos in the add were misleading.

Cons: Not really a lodge, doesn't really have that home feel.

2 night stay in family room

Pros: Lovely beds and decor. Nice surrounds.
Location: As above.
Lovely hotel, only stayed 2 nights and unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to use pool and spa facilities. Only approx. 1 km from coles / bottle shop, etc. Quite close to the Paramatta Ferry (we hopped on at Rydalmere ferry station as it had plenty of parking and was only about 15-20 min away so we didn't have to negotiate the city traffic). Probably not the best option with 3 little ones due to all beds being in the one room. Also, I heard the neighbours baby crying in the middle of the night so it seems the rooms aren't quite soundproof… I hope nobody heard my baby! Just be aware that there are approx. 6 steps you need to negotiate if you can't access the underground carpark and hence use the lift. We had to carry all our belongings through the front entrance and up the steps as we have a 4WD that wouldn't fit in the carpark.

Dear Guest - thank you for the review and your feedback provided. I apologise your 4 wheel drive did not fit underground, I know a landcruiser fits under, but when roof trays etc are added it is not high enough, but it does fit the majority of cars. Sorry you could hear a person next door, I will review the set up of the interconnecting door insulation. From a sleeping point of view the twin rooms work well from bedding, but maybe a suite would have been better with a separate bedroom and lounge room and we could use a roll away for one of the kids. Well managed Motel
