Great location, small boutiquePosted Feb 28, 2015
Cons: Uncomfortable furniture in lobby
Location: 2 mins to board a cruise ship at circular key. Right by circular key and the activities in the tocks
Very friendly helpful staff. Great location. No lifts, but we were on the first floor.

Perfect locationPosted Feb 26, 2015
Pros: The location was just perfect.
Cons: The lobby furniture is quite uncomfortable.
Location: Perfect for meeting our cruise ship and the ferry to Sydney Zoo, Manly. Right by Circular Quay for the Opera house and Harbour bridge.
Perfect location for joining our cruise ship for our trip around New Zealand. The staff as so friendly and helpful. We arrived early morning and although our room was not ready we were offered shower facilities which was just wonderful after 30 hours of traveling. We set off to explore Sydney and when we returned our luggage was in our room. I would highly recommend this hotel. Brilliant place to stay.

atmospheric & comfortablePosted Feb 11, 2015
this place stands out as having character in an area with lots of nice, but same, same, hotels. the staff were particularly friendly and extremely efficient. on check in, the concierge offered us great advice on where to visit, this was a proper hotel experience.

Visit to AustraliaPosted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: In a good location and nice reception area
Cons: Room as mentioned above
Location: The Rocks Sydney - what could be better!
We realise we had paid for a standard room and although small the initial look of the room was very pleasing. However as soon as we came to unpack the impracticalities of the room became apparent. There was no room for our cases. The bedside cabinets were drawers only - the space under might have been better used as a cupboard. the wardrobe was small, the ironing board could have been hung on the wall allowing us more space. The desk for the television - we felt the television might have been suspended to allow us more room. Also one huge fridge - unnecessary and a huge cupboard for tea and coffee and plugs in a really awkward place so unable to use the drawers. Shelf in bathroom in wrong place - not able to wash face or clean teeth easily and no shaving mirror. Washing line in stupid place - I could go on!

Character accommodationPosted Jan 11, 2015
I have stayed in many large hotels but in Sydney I keep coming back to the Harbour Rocks. It is very central to the fantastic attractions and eateries in the area. It has the unique character of a boutique hotel and although missing some of the features of larger hotels (gym, pool etc), it more than makes up for these in its atmosphere, excellent staff and location.

At the heart of historical SydneyPosted Dec 10, 2014
My wife and I booked this hotel due to its location. We were not disappointed with the location being right in the centre of historical Sydney. The staff are very helpful, unpretentious and frankly just good people. The rooms are well situated and clean with what you need.

Pros: The decor, great industrial vibe
Cons: Size of the room
Value: Average price, small room no view; right in the middle of the rocks, fantastic location close to the action
