Excellent location and friendly staffPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Awesome view, location and friendly staff
Location: Ferries, buses, trains, great places to eat out or even dine in.
The hotel has an awesome view, great location within walking distance to trains, buses and ferries. The staff were very friendly, neat and tidy. Breakfast was define too. The only slightly negative thing to say was our pillows - we forgot our own and these were a lot harder than we are used too. We would not hesitate to stay here again.Thank you and keep up the great service.

Close to everything!Posted Apr 18, 2015
Location: Harbour walk, trains and tours are very close. The Opera House is within walking distance and botanical gardens.
This hotel is in a great location , close to all the attractions in Sydney. The room we had was clean but a bit on the small side and tight for 3 adults. The hotel has a nice breakfast area and great lobby . The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Sydney weekendPosted Apr 18, 2015
Pros: Access to everything and plenty to do very close to the hotel.
The planned events for our weekend were the Caravan & Camping Show at Rose Hill, Waratahs vs. Stormers at Allianz Stadium so we wanted to be central with access to public transport. We parked the car when we checked in and didn't need or use it until we checked out. When we weren't heading off to our planned commitments we just wandered around the Rocks and this time instead of heading around Circular quay to the usual sights we turned up the hill to discover more of Sydney. Some we hadn't seen for years. Millers Point, Barangaroo, Observatory Hill, the Pier district west of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was good to see the mix of the old and new that makes Sydney a great place. It's amazing our a big city changes when you are not looking. We had a great weekend.

horrible customer service experiencePosted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: location and central proximity
Cons: customer service practices
Location: opera house
The location was great and the hotel stay was otherwise good. However we were very disappointed with the customer service experience at the hotel reception. The lady at the reception first tried to up-sell us a paid upgrade which we weren't interested in. Our trip was prepaid and despite clearly declining the upgrade, they tried to bill us for the upgrade fees during checkout. Eventually (after an argument) they did remove the extra unwanted changes, however we were told that we should be more careful next time, which was ridiculous as it was their fault in the first pace. No apologies, on contrary we were told to be more cautious. Very poor experience, for such a descent brand of hotel. Will surely avoid this place for future visits.

good locationPosted Mar 30, 2015
Cons: re rate the hotel to 2 star
supposedly a 4 star hotel, but more like a 2 star. room was outdated furniture old, decor from the 1970 s for the price I should have stayed at the 4 seasons down the road.

easy access to circular quay, shops & restaurantsPosted Mar 26, 2015
Pros: It accommodated all our needs
Cons: Bathroom updated
Location: So centralised, in walking distance to attractions, circular quay, darling harbour, shops and restaurants.
Hotel was very clean, has one of the best breakfast buffets, especially the chefs personalised omelettes. Staff are very helpful and accomodating. Views from the roof top pool area are stunning. We were able to walk to circular quay, shops, restaurants and attractions. All in all a very pleasurable and relaxing week. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay memorable.

Great location, but over priced.Posted Mar 21, 2015
Location is excellent and staff were very friendly, but the hotel itself is a bit "tired" and it was more expensive than it should be.
