Sydney Holiday InnPosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: The staff went out of their way to make me comfortable. They found a local church when I needed one, they posted business proposals at n\c.
Cons: Better equipt in gym
Location: Its an airport hotel. You stay here for proximity to airport.
I had a very comfortable 2 day stay at the Holiday Inn

Travelling with toddlersPosted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Only one night and it was clean and comfortable
Location: Perfect to international airport
Very helpful staff. They supplied cots, was a bit cramped with two toddlers but it was a family room. Perfect to get to international airport

ExcellantPosted Aug 11, 2013
Excellant check in service and accomdating reception staff as we arrived at 7.40am and had a room prepared for us in about an 45 minutes. All the time being kept informed of the what was happening and the status of the rooms readiness. We felt like the staff were genuinely trying to please. The location to the train station to get into Circular quay or central station is only about a 5 minute walk and the bus stop is opposite the hotels entrance (for the 400 bus to the airport terminals if you need it - however the super shuttle is very easy and convenient to use if you have a lot of luggage to transfer from airport to hotel). The rooms provide an option of firm or soft pillows which suited me and my wife as we have varying requirements around pillows and I know I had a great nights sleep whilst at the Holiday Inn. The hotel also has a better than average buffet breakfast which included a delicious ommlette and pancake bar and a do-it-yourself juice bar. All in all - it was a very relaxing and easy stay, and I will return when next in Sydney. Thanks

Good distance to airportPosted Aug 11, 2013
Close to airport - good for short term stay but hotel is quite dated compared to other hotels that are similar in pricing. Should have free wi-fi.

One night stayPosted Jul 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was in a great location for us being near the airport, the service was very good and helpful, the parking was not great as not enough spots for all guests, but the valet staff were very accommodating. The room configuration was not what we had requested and earlier information of this would have been helpful as we had to children a girl 20 and son 15 who had to share a bed which was not ideal, but as were only there for one night, it was bearable.

Great locationPosted Jul 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
For those travelling by air its location is ideal. Slow check in probably because of difficult guests ahead of us. Do not eat in the dining rom because of 3 prior bad restaurant experiences at this hotel.

Good place for a short layover in SydneyPosted Jun 23, 2013
The rooms are the same basic design and size you would find in most travel hotels in this price range. The rooms are clean and in good condition. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Of particular note for the traveller having a short layover in Sydney is the fact that the hotel has both a good bar and restaurant, and there is easy access to both the airport and downtown Sydney. Shuttle or cab to the airport cost less than $20 and the train to downtown is about $5 return.
