I did like the fact I was in my room and in Just my boxer shorts and they gave someone else a key to my room. ( two men just walked in) . Then I went out and when I came back my room key did not work . Then I went out Saturday morning I came back and room key would not work again .whatever you do people do not stay here .

Property not kept up. Looks like it is going to be torn down soon as no money has been put into this property. We have been going to it since 2002 (22 yrs) & it’s in terrible condition.

The property is in need of renovation. The toilet seat was falling off, the tap moved sideways, the toilet paper holder was half off, there had obviously been a flood and the damage was obvious, shabby. The staff was lovely , the facilities mediocre.

Overall, my experience at this hotel was quite positive. The location is fabulous, offering breathtaking views from my room. Despite the slightly tired appearance of the lobby and hall, the room itself was clean and inviting. The bed provided exceptional comfort, and the powerful shower was a welcome treat after a long day. The reception staff stood out for their exceptional service and helpfulness, adding a personal touch to the stay. The local amenities were across the road, for that early morning coffee. The overall experience was memorable and enjoyable. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others looking for a comfortable stay with stunning views.

Couldn’t give 1 star because staff are doing the best they can, but property needs to have a serious uplift. Everything is worn down badly. Views of the Darling Harbor are great, but the room is very tiny. Shower was leaking on the floor when the door was closed. The location and staff are good, but that’s the only thing that is good about this hotel.

there are some interesting pubs, restaurants, and liquor shops near the hotel. The street near the hotel was full of young energy with young breaking dancers. It is great to have a walk around the hotel.

Convenient location for restaurants in Darling Harbour, and yet it is the nice and quieter part of Darling Harbour. The hotel bar is also very nice, with a nice view of Darling Harbour.

Overall an average stay. Buffet breakfast and bar was great, rooms and hallways were very dated, stains on the carpet, marks on the walls etc. Also could hear neighbouring rooms very clearly. You could also access all levels in the lift without scanning your card which I found was a safety issue. Very budget hotel needing some urgent love.

On arrival we weren't able to check in as our room wasn't ready until 3pm - this was disappointing given we had been travelling all day! Our stay was okay but the room was quite run down and didn't seem overly clean.

But please note, that early check in is subject to availability and guaranteed check in is from 3 pm. Since we were running on a full house the night prior, it was not possible to provide you with an early check in.That being said, we do provide guests the option of a guaranteed early check in if they wish to pay the additional check in fee by getting the room ready on a priority for them. Good location if you want to visit the star casino and helpful staff but that's the only positives about Ibis DarlingHarbour and my wotif booking. Room was small & cramped, dingy and smell because of the lack of fresh air. Permanent aircon makes all the linen feel damp and mold must be an issue. Booked through Wotif ,what was supposed to be a deluxe room city view room, cost almost $400 a night, no breakie included, crap value and to top it off the view is of the new construction going on in DH. Will not stay here or use wotif again.

Air conditioning in room was fantastic! Especially on a 40 degree day! The half flush on the toilet in the bathroom did not work. No hand towel in bathroom also. Food and drink at bar and breakfast was great. Checkout was slow as 1 staff member on front desk. Bed was very comfortable.

Very good location, food in the dining room was below average I wouldnt dine in again especially when there are so many restraunts so close by. The room had a smell about it quite unpleasant I think it was the carpet. In general the Hotel is very tired and needs a total upgrade. Staff all very helpful and friendly.

This is a Great, Hotel The stay at in central Sydney Darling Harbour. The rooms are quite small, however, the lobby restaurant and bar are very nice. The hotel staff are very courteous and helpful, and there’s a beautiful view of Darling Bay from the hotel. Highly recommend this hotel.

The location is great! The facilities are old. The room is quite small without any decoration (boards, plants) which does bring the feeling of a lack of care with the customer. The bed was very comfortable though.

Regular rooms are very small. It is worthwhile to upgrade to Bay View. This hotel is conveniently located because it is very close to the Pyrmont Bridge and there is a grocery store across the street from the hotel next door (which has better dining options).
