Nice hotel and close to Darling Harbour.

Posted Jun 22, 2015
Pros: It's location, absolutely ideal.
Cons: Wi fi access needs to be improved.
Location: Ideal for harbour taxis and all the amenities around Darling Harbour.
Although a nice hotel with really good staff I was really annoyed about wi fi access. There are 1,026 rooms that cost the going rate and surely in this day and age they can offer free wi fi, it is done at airports etc but hotels seem to view it as another way to make money. Yes there was free wi fi in the lobby for a 30 minute period each day but c'mon get into the 21st century.

IT'S AN IBIS... GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: SITUATION.
Cons: NEEDS SOME REFREHING (CARPETS, BATHROOM, ETC.)
Location: PERFECT FOR WALKING DARLING HARBOR AND NEARBY ATTRACTIONS.
THE DARLING HARBOR IBIS IS A REAL IBIS WITH EVERYTHING YOU CAN-AND CAN NOT- EXPECT FROM AN IBIS. THIS ONE IS OVER 20 YEARS OLD AND SHOWS HERE AND THERE IT'S "AGE". BUT THE EXCELLENT SITUATION AND THE FRIENDLY STAFF MAKE IT A VEWRY GOOD PLACE TO STAY.

For 5 star - dissapointed

Posted Jun 13, 2015
Pros: View
Cons: Bigger rooms with better chairs to sit on and enjoy the view.
Location: Very good
thought I had 5 star bookings, was dissappointing to not how small the rooms are. No comfortable seating, plastic chairs. Although it was for two people it was too cramped. No bins in the rooms to put any rubbish in. Very small space in rooms.

Overnight stay

Posted Jun 11, 2015
The location is the best feature with a walk across the Peirmont bridge taking you to the center of the city. The rooms are small and basic but clean comfortable and have everything you need except a safe.

Great location

Posted Jun 4, 2015
The location is what matters the most here, it's great. The waterside view from our room was delightful! The room itself was basic, but that was all we needed. It was clean, the bed was comfy and there was a bamboo pillow for me and my crook neck to use in the cupboard! Very happy with our stay.

IBIS Hotel Darling Harbour

Posted May 31, 2015
Pros: Excellent view of Darling Harbour and Sydney buildings from our window.Easy access to light rail or buses into Circular Quay and Central Station.
Cons: For us No.
Location: The Maratime Museum was a two minute walk away, adjacent to Cockle Bay where there are numerous eating places as well as a number of specialist shops.
We stayed at the hotel for three nights. Hotel was very clean and the staff very helpful and pleasant. The room we stayed in was ideal for a couple, cannot comment on other rooms.
