Large Hotel close to the RocksPosted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: This hotel has a lovely restaurant on the side of it, The Meat and Wine Co.
Cons: Maybe the attitude of the guy who looks after the bar on Ground Floor. He was quite rude.
Location: Near the Rocks, across the road from Cafe Sydney!
This is a large hotel; with many people coming and going! Our room was near the lifts but very quiet; we never heard people coming or going in the lift area. We were on Level 12; I am a very light sleeper and i could hear the traffic from the cars; but the hotel was lovely that they arranged ear plugs for me. Maybe pay a few dollars more to have a nicer view! Room was a nice size; quite large and livable for 3 nights; bathrooms are small; but still not a problem for us.

What an amazing place!Posted Oct 27, 2014
Pros: Harbor location, Great Views!
Location: Opera House, Harbor, ferries, good eats, shopping, aquarium, zoo, battle ship, submarine, all in walking distance,
I always stay at upper level hotels and get the better rooms. This place is just amazing! It was not only a great hotel and a great room, the location greatly added to our Sydney experience as a tourist! We had such a great view of the harbor we felt like we were on some kind of ride or in an observation tower. We could see most attractions that we wanted to discover. This allowed us to enjoy Sydney even when we were relaxing in our room. Such an unexpected treat!

Pros: The location, service and F&B.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Very close to Circular Quay and the ferries to various points. Many restaurants nearby, the Opera House is just a short away.
It meant to be was a romantic getaway for my wife and me. As it turned out it was much better than planned. A great location close to Circular Quay and all it's attractions. Great views of the harbour from the room. Excellent staff serving excellent food and wine. A wonderful visit.

Lovely hotel close to the Opera HousePosted Oct 11, 2014
Cons: Faster food service in the bar.
Location: Near the Opera House, perfect.
On our booking form I requested a corner room with a view over the harbour/gardens, but unfortunately Expedia did not send this information through to the hotel. They were excellent in reassigning our room to satisfy our request. Full marks to the hotel staff for customer satisfaction. Expedia, you need to ensure the client's request goes through!
