Nice hotel, close to all the action of Kings Cross

Pros: Location is great
Cons: Lighting could be improved!
Location: Central location for Kings Cross and Potts Point
Rooms are clean and nicely furnished although lighting is a bit dark in the bathroom - they need spotlights for the girls to do their makeup!

Excellent location for transport and nightlife

Pros: location and balcony
Cons: roof on the balcony and cushions on the furniture
Location: Right on Kings Cross and close to train station
Was okay but there were a few things that we requested like fix the toilet seat and some cushions for the outdoor chairs that were missing but we could see them on the furniture of the neighbours either side that just never got done even though we were there for 3 nights.

I didn't know that the Kings Cross is a "fun" place to be in Sydney. LOL. It was a shame that it was raining the whole time we were in Sydney, so the 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel to the Rocks became very distant (also, didn't know Sydney is that hilly!). The train station is very close by but the train ticket is fairly expensive considering the distance. Strange thing is that, I asked the reception desk to book a taxi for me at 7am next morning, but there was no taxi shown up or a reminding call at all.

Pleasant hotel in good location.

Pros: Modern decor, well kept, seems like it was recently renovated. Nice hotel. Good value for money
Cons: Lighting in bathroom although modern is poor. Hard to see for shaving, make up etc. Air conditioner compressor very noisy in both rooms we stayed
Location: Great location close to subway, close to cbd so walkable to opera house, circular quay, museums, bondi beach, many good restaurants nearby.
Enjoyed the proximity of the hotel to light rail at Kings Cross station. This provided easy access to cbd also only ten minutes via light rail from airport.

Would Stay Again!

The staff was excellent and very helpful. We were disappointed in the size of the mini fridge (which was already chock full of their products and left little room for our own purchases.) Also, remote control did not work properly but once the maintenance guy came and fixed it, we were good to go! (not to mention he recommended a great place to eat called "Chapter e".) Over-all, our stay was very positive!

Pros: Location
No room service and the hotel restaurant was closed Sundays and Mondays. Luckily there were a lot of restaurants within walking distance. I was allergic to something in the room and developed a sinus infection. Not a pleasant stay.

Pros: La propreté et le confort du lit
Cons: Meilleur éclairage dans la chambre et la salle de bain
Location: près du jardin botanique, de la Cathédrale, Musée, Hyde Park, et grands axes routiers assez près de l'Opéra , du port, et de l'aéroport
Lors du " check in ", un dépôt de $100.00 australien a été demandé pour les " incidentals" comme le bar de la chambre. Comme je n'avais utilisé aucun " Incidentals " Lors du "check out", j`ai demandé le remboursement de ce dépôt. On m'a répondu que, comme j'avais réservé par Expedia, le remboursement viendrait de Expedia. J'ai trouvé cela bizarre. Mais je ne pouvais rien faire d'autre. Est ce que c'est une procédure normale et devrais-je faire une réclamation par VISA ?, ou le remboursement viendra vraiement par Expedia ? A part cet incident, tout a très bien fonctionné.

Location: Great restaurant on LLanKelly, little alley off the main road.
Saying that the neighborhood was sketchy, was a understatement. One block from the hotel, was eyeopening.

Nice hotel but....

The lighting is horrible in the hotel. The rooms are two dimly lit. And it does not help with the brown carpet and brown walls. Free Internet is a waste of time you have to pay five dollars more for the better Internet where you can receive pictures and videos. The hotel doesn't have much to offer besides a comfortable bed and The location is convenient for traveling. My suggestion would be to make the Wi-Fi free get better lighting get rid of the brown carpets and get cable with more channels. Then it will be worth what they charge u to stay.
