Fantastic location right in the city

A great central location, easy walk to The Rocks, circular quay, the CBD. Arrive and then walk/use public transport to get everywhere.

Pros: Clean, comfortable and ideal location. Heated pool and spa on the roof.
Cons: Update and renew old equipment please.
Location: Free bus outside to city centre. Close to circular quay, harbour bridge, the Rocks.
Would of be excellent but our washing machine and tumble dryer didn't work, so we had to get the staff to take it to another room to clean and dry.

Good location near to Opera house etc

Pros: Location, rooms
Cons: Will be better once the major programme of works to upgrade foyer and dining areas is complete
Location: Really good location adjacent to harbour bridge/Opera house and main shopping areas
Nice hotel with good rooms, disappointing that there was a lot of construction upgrade work taking place that limited facilities

This hotel was clean, well situated and the staff friendly. I was impressed with my room as it was spotless and comfortable. The hotel was undergoing some renovations in the lobby but disruptions were kept to a minimum. I really enjoyed my stay and would book there again.

Stayed before and very happy. This time not told about lack of lobby bar and most particularly lack of room service, main reason why we booked into a hotel for the night

nice hotel me and a friend stayed because of the closeness to the ivy ... it was good to sleep in but mina disappointed that our cd player didn't work and also my mate had to sleep on the couch with no linen

Excellent position transport wise

Pros: Position and facilities
Cons: Will be better when restaurant finished but other eating places close by.
Location: Near circular Quay, Opera House, walking distance to city centre shopping. Close to Wynyard station, good restaurants near by.
We had a fantastic stay, the hotel is ideally positioned for both rail transport and walking to the city centre. The self contained rooms are great for self catering and washing facilities. The restaurant is being refurbished so there are some disruptions with workmen but that did not worry us. A great venue with excellent staff.

Overcrowded rooms

Pros: The room was comfortable and clean.
Location: Close proximity to the CBD and Circular Quay.
Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be any control of the number of people staying in a room. Our neighbouring room over the weekend had people coming in and out, slamming doors and making a racket until 3am. There were definitely a lot of people staying in the room. Also, The hotel was undergoing renovations, with no restaurant facility. This should have been communicated at the time of booking, this is very unfair to the client.
