Clean and convenient to train and shops

Pros: The full kitchen, indoor swimming pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and cleanliness.
Cons: Hot water was not available in the bathroom sink faucet. The alarm clock also was not working properly.
Location: There are different restaurants, shops, shopping center, supermarkets and the train station all within walking distance.
I was disappointed at first with the rather small lobby and absolute minimal shower (had shower head and only a curtain with no bathtub). However, the cleanliness, convenience of the location, indoor swimming pool and full kitchen made up for the luxury that it lacked. It was also a good size 1-bedroom suite with twin beds and dining area with a table and chairs.

Best Hotel we have ever stayed at

Pros: Size and appointment of rooms, all facilities supplied: washing machine & dryer included. Really made us feel like home for a couple of days
Cons: Nothing, was all fantastic
Location: Across the road from Chatswood Railway Station and Westfield Mall. Close to buses and late opening supermarkets and convenience stores
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of the rooms for the price we paid. Excellent service from all staff. We arrived late and ordered room service for the family and were treated to one of the best restaurant quality meals we have had. The portion sizes were extremely generous and absolutely delicious and enjoyed sitting down in the dining area of the room and eating just like we would at home. Our children enjoyed the separate bedroom as we enjoyed the privacy not usually found at a Hotel when travelling with a family. We arrived on a cold winter night to find the rooms snuggly warm and the sofa bed made up and a TV in every room, much to my children's delight to be able to watch different programs. The number of windows and the amount of natural light was a delight as was amount of equipment provided in the rooms to cater for all needs. Will definitely stay there again. We visited Taronga Zoo and Luna Park to treat the kids and spent another day shopping to treat us, and them. Wish we could have spent more time as we felt so welcome. Sadly we didn't have the time to use the gym or relax by the indoor pool.

Cons: It would be better is the check-in and check out time is a little flexible.
Location is great, next to the station. Everything is efficient in the room.

Room allocation

I was allocated a wheelchair access room which I did not request and I was travelling with my four year old. I also booked well in advance. When I requested to move to a room with a bath which was more appropriate for my daughter they told me I hadn't requested a room with a bath (a standard room) and they were booked out (it was only 3pm I doubt everyone had arrived). I booked a 4 star hotel but was given a 2 star room. The bathroom completely felt like a hospital. Water from shower went everywhere, no toilet seat, door can't lock and the worse was having to use a dining chair to put my toiletries on as it's basin only for accessibility. I was disgusted. Never again Mantra!

Great value for money

Convenient location (close to shops and transport), well sized rooms, and friendly staff. Was very good value for money (a good alternative to staying right in the city) - would definitely recommend.

GOOD HOTEL!

Pros: Location is perfect for Chatswood restaurants, theatre, etc
Cons: Decor is starting to look a bit tired.....particularly the restaurant.
Location: Great location
Booked a 1 night voucher deal with breakfast for an anniversary and enjoyed the studio apartment very much.

I can't say enough how impressed I was with this hotel. The rooms were the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The customer service was amazing. They happily accommodated all my requests. The location was very convenient as it was close to the station but I never heard the trains which was amazing. I'm still in shock about the quality, especially when you consider the price we paid for the room. Definitely the best value for money hotel room ever!
