Really close to Circular QuayPosted Oct 17, 2014
Cons: No nothing really
Location: Really close to Circular Quay - close to town centre, cafe's and restaurants and also just around the corner from the free bus.
Really close to Circular Quay - close to town centre, cafe's and restaurants and also just around the corner from the free bus. Staff are very friendly, helpful and would highly recommend the Marriott to anyone. We certainly will be back.

Hotel staff really helpful and courteous. Walking distance to any touristic attractions. Check-in and check-out with no hassle. View to opera house worthy.

Fantastic locationPosted Oct 9, 2014
Staff and location both excellent. Room quite small for two double beds and bathroom pretty ordinary for a 5 star hotel.

Great hotel in Sydney CBDPosted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: Our visit was great. We would book again at this hotel.
Cons: The key card system could be improved. On two occasions we had to go down to the front desk to have the card reset.
Location: The hotel was one block from many cafe's and events in the city. It was the perfect location to stay during our vacation.
We arrived at the hotel and we were met by a very friendly staff member that assisted us with our luggage. He placed our luggage in storage until the room was ready. The hotel moved the luggage to the room later that day before we came back from our afternoon of sight seeing. The staff was always helpful and willing to assist with any issues. Several of the staff member greeted us by name during our visit. One afternoon during our stay the elevator stopped while we were going up to our room. The hotel staff was not able to move the elevator, but was able to get the elevator company out to the hotel within 15 minutes and have us out to our room. The other couple in the elevator was totally upset and gave the manager an earful. We were later contacted by the manager to see if we were ok and to contact him personally if we have any issues. The manager sent to the room the next day a bottle of wine and several desserts. It was not a great cost to the hotel, but respect the fact that the effort was made.

Location is prefect, close to Harbour.Posted Sep 27, 2014
We stayed 3 nights for our short holiday in Sydney. Nobody greatted us at the door, check in was quick but again, nobody asked if we have any lagage to take to the room. There were no bath robes or sleepers in the room. This is not what we use to with Marriott service anywhere else in the World. Location was prefect, we were happy with the room and facilities, just wish that they will improve their service.

great views of the harbourPosted Sep 24, 2014
Cons: the price of in room movies was a joke. They really dont need to be as expensive as they are - $20 for a new release that you cant watch on repeat
Location: one street back from harbour and train station. Its at the quiet end of pitt st where it is one way driving only so pretty quiet. close to shopping
great views from our harbour view room. We had a king bed, ensuite, bar fridge, giant tv, a desk and a couple of comfy chairs to chill out in. The room was clean, comfy and air-conditioned. We had enough room to set our porta-cot up. The staff were lovely and valet parking came in very handy as we were only a street back from the harbour we walked everywhere. The train station is also only a couple of hundred metres away incase you want public transport
