Mercure Sydney Liverpool

Beautiful hotel with the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in. We requested a quiet room away from the lifts and that is exactly what we got. Wanted to have a drink in our room before going out to dinner and that was no trouble at all and very prompt service.

The hotel is cosy enough and i would recommend to everyone who do not mind staying away from the city area. It located near cabramatta (about 10km from it). and it would take about an 1hrs to reach the city by trains ($5AUD/way)

When I arrived, there was no one to help me with my bags and the staff were just sitting at reception (2 male staff). When asked if someone could help me, they pointed me to the trolly and said I can use that myself to take my luggage up to my room. The sheets were not changed at all during my stay at the hotel - I stayed there for 5 nights. When I asked the reception to change my sheets, they argued with me stating that they change their sheets every 2 days, however I had marked the sheets and noticed this was still there after the 4th day. The coffee / water stains on the bench were left the same for the whole stay, this proved that no one actually wiped down the benches. This hotel should not be rated 4.5 out of 5 as to me it's even worst than a 2 Star hotel. For this price you would have at least expected better service and cleanliness of the rooms. I would definitely not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel.

The stay was wonderful, loved swimming in pool. The hotel rates where great during the New Years period.

The first night we woke up 5 o'clock in the morning of an alarm that went of, very annoying. Especially when it happened twice. I was not able to sleep after this happened. Which was very annoying because this was the night before New Year's Eve. So maybe a good idea for the future to check the alarm clock in the rooms, to make sure that this those not happen again.

MINI BAR COSTS ARE HIGHER

Conveniently located if you need to be in Western Sydney attached to the Catholic Club with your choice of restaurants entertainment. Room was fantastic. Cost a bit more them surrounding hotels but worth it. Highly recommended. Will stay there again.

Excellent hotel (cleanliness, comfort and condition). fFod available only through club next door (easily accessible but not up to same level of sophistication as the hotel). Hotel (and club) facilities excellent especially for a family - however quite a distance from central Liverpool.
