Just a Short Walk

Posted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Location was very central to enable us to "walk" to major attractions in area.
Cons: A little more detail in room cleaning. Supplied with towels for two but our booking was for three.
Location: Close to Cockle Bay Wharf and Harbourside restaurants. Water Taxis 1 block away.
Metro Apartments at Darling Harbour is a great location. Easy walking distance to Pitt Street Mall, Cockle Bay Wharf and attractions and shopping at Darling Harbour. Free city bus only 2 blocks away.

Beautiful view of darling harbour fireworks

Posted Jul 22, 2014
Booked for hubby's birthday weekend, found the room to be very comfortable. Complete with full view of darling harbour fireworks from the lounge. Foyer and hallways dated and a little musty but overall experience was great.

Hotel close to city centre and harbour

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Compact apartment with enough fascilities for eating in , laundry and closeness to eateries.
Cons: There did not appear to be disabled access. Lots of steps to reception area, although lifts to all floors.
Location: Close to Darling Harbour, restaurants and attractions, ferry point to circular key from which so much more is accessable. The aquarium is close .
A good appartment for city sightseeing. Close to Darling harbour amenities, walking distance from main shopping area and other sights.

Pros: everything was so close
Location: 3 minute walk to king street wharf, restaurant, aquarium, public transport
we were let in earlier than the check-in time, we soon realised they only supplied enough linen ,towels for 2 people but knew there were 4 of us. the microwave didn't work and no kettle all was quickly rectified, they couldn't do enough.balcony well only one person at a time, 2 fit but quite squeezy, there are other apartments here that have bigger balconies would get that next time all in all great place, great location

Central to everything!

Posted May 27, 2014
Pros: Great location, in the heart of Sydney.
Cons: Updated bathroom facilities.
Location: Very near to Darling Harbour, which is great! However, on a weekend it's a noisy corner of King and Sussex with a pub just across the road.
Stayed during the weekend of Vivid. Hotel is located right in the heart of the city, central to everything you'll want to see from Darling Harbor to Circular Quay to Pitt Street.

Good location

Posted May 10, 2014
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful
The rooms had everything you need while you're away from home; a place to sleep, a place to eat and a place to shower. It was fairly decent for the price

A week in Sydney was not enough!!

Posted May 5, 2014
Pros: The staff was fabulous, so helpful in every way. My daughter did not stay with us every night so they adjusted our rate which I thought was very nice.
Cons: I would have to dressers. Our room could hold four people but it did not have enough space to store our clothes.
Location: It's on a very busy corner so I would bring earplugs if noise at night is a problem. Great location! All rooms face the street. Higher up maybe bette
We love the location. Out the door and across the street to darling harbor with many attractions which kept us busy many days. We used the ferrys to go to the Quay and Sydney Opera House..Downtown was just the other way with caf├ęs shopping and grocery store. We love using Uber taxis to take us to the places we weren't able to walk. Many many eating options just outside the hotel.. Places had specials of the week so we try to make a game to find the best special for the day.
