Close to Westmead Hospitals, and very easy to find

Posted Dec 4, 2013
Pros: Much better to have facilities for cooking, which were very clean, because I was in and out at strange hours.
Cons: The building is old and needs work outside, but unit was comfortable and clean.
Location: Across the road from a beautiful park, quiet street, very close to Parramatta shopping centre.
I was looking for a place to stay which was close to Westmead Hospital because a family member was having an operation. Coming from a country area and having to cope driving in Sydney traffic, I found it very easy staying here. Very quiet neighbourhood, with shops close by.

Very average accommodation.

Pros: Location.
Cons: Maintenance of the unit desperately lacking. Needs enough hot water for 4 showers as it sleeps 4-6.
Location: Close to shops and restaurants. Easy access to the motorway.
One of the beds was broken. Kept running out of hot water. Was mouldy in some of the rooms. Dryer was broken.

Some let downs, but good for the money

Posted Feb 5, 2013
Pros: Balcony, Spaciousness
Cons: Uncomfortable beds, broken/old fittings
Location: A bit out of the way
Lots of space which is good, beds were quite uncomfortable, and one of our blankets was dirty. Housekeeping promptly changed the sheets, so that was good. I found the overall upkeep was lacking, and the finishings were very old-school. I also found it was a bit far from everything we wanted to do in Sydney. Despite this, the apartment is very roomy and accommodating. It was comfortable and good enough for what we paid. Oh, and there is also a grave yard across the street, which i initially thought was a park lol

Pretty ordinary

There are no onsite staff so if your self-serve check-in goes wrong (as mine did) it can take a while to actually get a key for your apartment. The room was OK but with several maintenance issues - missing vertical blinds, loose fittings. Apartments are on a quiet suburban street opposite a nice park. Parramatta CBD is 15-20 minutes walk.
