Pros: close to where I needed to be
Cons: Fix the aircon fans

Overall good stay at Novotel Rockford. Staff very helpful and welcoming, hotel fairly central to CBD and Darling Harbour. Rooms were clean but a little small and could do with some refurbishing. Breakfasts were good although little variation. Overall for the price it was a great value and enjoyed our stay.

Cons: The Check-in staff could have mentioned that children ate for free at the Breakfast Buffet but we found out soon enough the next morning
We had a one night stay and it was everything we could have expected. The staff were friendly and helpful with regard to the check-in, allowing us to check in early, advice re things to do on our short stay and our check out. The room heating was a bit loud but that was only temporary as we turned it off when we went to sleep. The location was perfect as it was close to Darling Harbour and the free bus line and within walking distance to Central Station where we needed to catch the train to Olympic Park for the Chelsea Vs Sydney Game.

Welcome HomePosted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: It was all about the guest - comfort and service from friendly assistants.
Cons: No problems at this hotel.
Location: The hotel is right near Darling Harbour and Chinatown for great food and shopping but is also close to public transport for the tram, bus and ferries.
This was a perfect destination late on a Sunday evening after a long plane trip. It was comfortable and quiet for a good sleep, with a very nice bathroom and a cupboard full of enticing treats. Room service was easy. In the morning it was a short distance to the Darling Harbour shops to meet up with family members. Also, the rate on Expedia was incredibly reasonable.

Easily accessible location near to darling harbourPosted Jun 16, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness. Most importantly hotel staff were very helpful and co-operative at all times.
Cons: House keeping services could be improved.
The stay at the hotel was really good. Myself and my family enjoyed the stay as well as the location. Whether its a taxi or bus or food or fun for children, all were easily accessible. Walkable distance to places like darling harbour, paddy's market, china town, George street or even the metro station is something i would like to highlight on first place. secondly, the swimming pool was awesome. Furthermore, the services and the staff at the hotel was excellent and more than my expectations. The staff at the reception irrespective of who ever it was and whatever time it was, they were really helpful, informative and co-operative at all times. To me, Ms. Herenui at the reception was a lot helpful in arranging for my tour packages and about the travel information within the city. The view from my room towards the Chinese garden of friendship was another memorable moment. All together the 8 days of my stay at the hotel was worth the money i have spend and with no doubt recommend everyone looking forward to have a pleasant stay over here.

Close to Darling HarbourPosted Jun 11, 2015
Pros: Walking distance to Darling Harbour and the Lyric Theatre.
Location: Entertainment Centre directly opposite. Darling Quarter and Darling Harbour only 5-10mins walk. Lots to see, do and eat in a very close proximity.
Arrived early and we were able to check in to our room. The girl who checked us in was so charming and chatty, an absolute delight. She also remembered us on checking out the next morning and asked how our evening had been.

Cons: Selection of bread for breakfast.

Nice hotel, very good staff, nothing is to hard for them. Breakfast is good, nothing spectacular but something for everyone. Selection of bread could be better. Location is very good, everything is so handy.
