Great location and views

Pros: Staff friendly and helpful Heated indoor pool
Cons: The hotel needs a complete refurbishment - dated and odour The breakfast buffet needs to serve fresher food (particularly the fruit and bread)
Location: Close proximity to public transport, beach and restaurants
Hotel is in close proximity to airport and public transport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great indoor and outdoor pool. Buffet breakfast has a great rate if you are staying at hotel, but freshness of food is questionable.

Badly in need of renovation

Pros: Nothing in particualar.
Cons: A full renovation and friendlier staff.
Location: Great location to stay in Sydney.
We had a four night stay, moved rooms after the first night due to a air con ducting system roaring above our bedroom ceiling. We were offered a buffet breakfast for this inconvenience, which we did take up, but that food was just average, not bad, just nothing special. Throughout the hotel the wallpaper is peeling, there was mould on our bedroom ceiling in room 732, the large deck is so dilapidated with rust and rot it is unpleasant to sit out there. We did complain to management that we were paying 5 star rate for a three star hotel. They said they had just been bought out and an upgrade to the hotel would be taking place shortly - not sure how that would benefit us! Told they would do something for us but we knew it was just lip service. Overall, a very old and tired hotel that you pay more for than the City 5 star hotels because it is the only big hotel in that area of Sydney. Would not stay here again until renovation takes place!

The hotel is very old and needs a complete refurbishment. The room reflected its age and was not worth the $280 paid.

Great location

Our stay was fantastic! We were upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view. The room was lovely and clean and in a great location close to the airport and surrounded by fabulous eateries. Thank you. I would definitely return.

Pros: Excellent rooms with additional sitting room. Space and comfort. Very good amenties and comfortable beds and lounge area. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Great views, close to the airport, close to good restaurants,
Very enjoyable stay. Staff were vry professional and helpful. Hotle has good facilities.

Needs a facelift

We had a request for an early checkin for 1pm instead of 2pm which we found out was not able to be catered for. We then asked for a bathroom to freshen up but had to wander around level 3 before finding a bathroom on level 1 but had very limited facilities. We had to checkin about 11pm on our return to the hotel to find they had not put our bags in the room. Room was dated but the bed was comfortable enough. Spa and tiles cracked in the bathroom seemed to have been there for many years. This place needs a spruce up to charge these prices. Things just seemed to be too difficult for some of the staff.

Cons: Cleaners who really clean or HAVE the time to clean and paid properly
Location: Great but was only an overnight and there was a storm
It was dreadful and the manager was a very abrupt person
