“Very convenient place to Stay in Sydney.”

The rooms were nice, but pricey for what you got. I never ate at their restaurant because it was so expensive. The location is great for the convention center. Staff was helpful. Be careful with Harbour View Rooms. They gave me one on the second floor, below the level of the building between me and the harbour. I could see a sliver of the water between buildings. This is a good location to get around Sydney with most major transportation links right there next to the hotel. However, if you get out of the harbour area for meals, you will cut your costs dramatically.

Area recommendations

Darling Harbour, Circular Quay, The Central Business District. Take a ferry from Darling H to Circular Quay, or vice versa. It's a great way to see the area. Try getting out of Darling Harbour to eat as everyplace seems expensive there. do check out the Indian Restaurant Zaffron in the mall. Spend some time walking around the shore/dock areas.

“Great location but needs freshening...!”

Loved the hotel's location overlooking Darling Harbour. Staff very warm and friendly and all services provided promptly and with a smile. Public areas nicely maintained. Only issue was condition of room - while everything was clean, the carpet was stained in several locations and the bathroom had stained and some missing grout in several areas - would definitely consider staying at again, but would want to see it freshened up a bit...
