Close to Darling Harbour and good value for moneyPosted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Close to light rail, Harbourside Mall and Darling Harbour
Cons: Fire alarms being maintain correctly so they don't go off during the night as we had two false alarms during two of the nights we were there.
Location: Close to light rail and ferries so easy for you to get around Sydney. Darling Harbour was a 5 minute walk which had shops, attractions and eateries.
The Oaks Goldsbrough Apartments offer affordable accommodation close to Darling Harbour. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to other travellers. I would suggest using their recommended company for airport transfers as it was $1 more than public transport and the driver was great.

Good location but service underwhelmingPosted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: Mainly the location.
Cons: Elevator service was slow, although looks like there was a plan to upgrade the elevators.
Location: Darling Harbour is a happening place with lots to see and do.
Hotel is well located near Darling Harbour. Be sure to ask for a renovated room. First room was very tired and the rug was dirty. Asked to be moved. Second room was much better. Also, stay in upper floors (10th floor and above). Much better natural light in the higher rooms. Found the staff to be quite indifferent and not very helpful in general.

Very close to Darling Harbour and Light RailPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Great location. Great transport links. Great facilities
Cons: If you are going to start maintenance works at 8am, which includes drilling..at least have the decency to advise the affected guests!
Location: Darling Harbour, loads of restaurants. Harbourside Shopping Mall, 2 minute walk Light Rail inside Harbourside Car Park
I was a little dubious about a serviced apartment, but shouldn't have been. All the benefits of a hotel, but with the added bonus of a kitchen and washing facilities. The studio apartment was huge compared to our previous hotel room and I could not fault the conditions or cleanliness. Small sachets of washing powder were even provided if you wanted to use the washing machine (which we did)

Close to Darling HarbourPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: The staff were helpful and pleasant , offering advice and helpful information. Set in a tree lined area of Darling harbour .
Cons: Cleanliness of the floor coverings - carpet in particular. Renovation noise within the complex was intrusive and loud .
Location: Close to Darling Harbour attractions and shopping. Enjoyed the Fish Market.
Location of Oaks Goldsbrough Apartment was great , and the staff very helpful. However, the carpet downstairs in the apartment was grubby and stained - it definitely needs cleaning. The ongoing construction work outside was noisy and renovation work within the building loud.

Nice hotel but lots of construction going onPosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Location near darling harbour is good.Staff were very helpful.
Cons: Soundproofing in the apartments
Location: Darling harbour with pubs shopping centre and restaurants near by and city centre a ten minute walk away
Hotel was ok but due to it being an old building and the layout and wooden floors on the landings meant that every noise echoed especially the suitcase wheels. Would not recommend it if you are a light sleeper.

Handy location to transport and foodPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Location, kitchen facilities and two bedrooms.
Cons: Can opener didn't work. Easy fix. You could hear people walking by your room from one of the bedrooms.
Location: Very handy to Darling Harbour, light rail and Harbour Side food court. Undercover too.
A comfortable place to stay. In close walking distance to food, light rail and shops. Pool was a little too cold for my liking. Staff were informative. Rooms were spacious but a little tired. Still a good place to stay as a base to getting around Sydney.

Decent hotel close to public transport and harborPosted Apr 4, 2015
Pros: Good location and interesting building.
Cons: Internet should be included.
We were in Sydney for four days and this was an excellent location close to museums, public transport, casino and restaurants. We had a studio apartment with kitchen facilities. I was nice to have have breakfast in the room and have a relaxing morning before heading out to site seeing and shopping.

Great Location!Posted Apr 3, 2015
Pros: Price, location and amenities
Cons: Lighting in the apartment. Reception phone line
Location: Darling Harbour with restaurants to suit every budget. Shops, Ferries, Light Rail, Paddy's market, city shops and business area
Very easy access undercover to Darling Harbour where there are shops and good, reasonably priced eating places. Easy walk to the city, ferry and light rail. I guess the only down side to our stay was the apartment we had was on the darker side. Not a lot of sun and the lighting wasn't great for reading. Great gym, pool, sauna. Cafe where you could get good meals at reasonable prices on site. Next door is the school for massage and beauty therapy and we had a great massage for $20.00 for an hour. All up a very good place to stay.

まあこんなものかPosted Mar 30, 2015
