Trying hard to upgradePosted Jan 17, 2015
Cons: Get a different design team for upgrade.
Location: Across Hyde Park to major shopping precinct. Galleries and Exhibitions. Around the corner from Oxford Street. Close to inner-city gyms.
I have stayed here several times because of the excellent location and price. The rooms with a view over Hyde Park are very pleasant. The rooms are spacious. They are trying hard to upgrade but the re-fit is not a quite a 4 star standard. However, I would stay there again because of the location and as long as they keep the price 3 star equivalent.

Location to City is greatPosted Jan 15, 2015
Pros: Location and layout of the room
Cons: Time of day the rooms are serviced, if this was earlier so you can return to yourn room after lunch it would be good. One day it was almost 3pm.
Location: Hyde Park opposite, walking distance to train stations, Paddy's Markets, Capitol Tehatre and the CBD, Darling Harbour etc.
Close location to the city but rooms serviced late in the day and had to ask for fresh towels to be delivered. Otherwise handy to everywhere we needed to be.

I was upgraded to hotel, the cleaning daily was sed towels had not been removed. ok but some days all thr rubbish had not been emptied and some towels had not been removed. I was upgraded to a self contained apartment but I did expect a little more. The Staff were generally helpful.

good location, very old building with good roomPosted Jan 7, 2015
Cons: Bad smell in corridor
Location: Nice stroll in Hyde park
Location is very good, very close to train station and major shopping center, pleasant view over Hyde park, The build is very old, only one elevation available and very slow, another one is under maintenance. In general the hotel is still very old, but the room is quite ok as it has just been renovated.

Excelente hotel ubicado a lado de Hyde ParkPosted Nov 28, 2014
Pros: Comodidad, limpio y ubicación.
Cons: Internet gratis
Altamente recomendable!!!

Extremely convenientPosted Nov 28, 2014
Conveniently located in the city, it is really easy to get to any place of your choice by train or bus. Being close to Hyde Park and the Botanical Gardens, you would also have access to wide space for relaxation or a jog in the city.

Good locationPosted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: Location and the pool.
Cons: "if anything"??? The list is above.
Location: Close to all central locations.
We got a 3.5 star studio, got to the room and looked nothing like the pictures. Very run down, old kitchen, generally not as clean as expected for a hotel of that price. The hot water is extremely hot, within seconds that hot tap will give you 3rd degree burns and there's a mixer ( with cold ) for the shower which takes a while to master. Found a used cigarette packet under the spare blanket in the cupboard and a disgusting foul chemical or wee! ( hopefully not ) on the spare toilet role which was sitting on top of the tissues in the bathroom. So both of those could make you sick. The bed was strange, bottom sheet wasn't long enough for the bed and the duvet was separated by two sheets. Tv was average, low range of channels. Oven is from the 80s and also fridge freezer had so much ice build up you could barely fit anything in there. Windows didn't open so was impossible to get fresh air. Room number was 1403.

Hotel with a viewPosted Nov 23, 2014
Pros: The centralised location of the hotel
Cons: Response to complaints about problems with the rooms
Overall was a good hotel, except that the response time to complaints about the shower stall drainage problem was horribly slow. While it understand that tradespeople do not work on weekends, the problem should have been resolved by the start of the working week.
