Good quality, good value.Posted May 21, 2015
Arrived to see an entrance past a construction barrier, was worried that would reflect the rest of the hotel. Was pleasantly surprised to find the room was top notch; the smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor was a let down.

Posted May 14, 2015
Cons:

Big rooms in a great locationPosted May 12, 2015
Pros: Full-sized fridge and kitchenette.
Cons: Hallways are looking a little tired and could do with a bit of a spruce-up.
Location: Right on the corner of Oxford and College St, this hotel is the perfect launchpad for a night out in the city.
We stayed in a large quiet room on the 7th floor on the back of the building. The room had a large balcony with views of Woolloomooloo Bay.

Thanks Oaks Plaza Hyde ParkPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The rooftop pool, the staff and I liked the room decor, the fittings. The view from my room on the 3rd floor was a vista across Hyde Park.
Ideally located just on the north eastern side of Hyde Park. Everything is close. Food, trains, buses, convenience stores. Sydney is just a walk across the park and a further 15 minutes to the harbour. The staff were exceptional, friendly and most helpful. Nothing was too much. My expectations were exceeded and my Sydney adventure was made just that much better.

Hält was es versprichtPosted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: Sport-/Spabereich, zentrale Lage, Kochmöglichkeit
Cons: Bessere Ausstattung der Küche, Bäder sanieren, störender Geruch aus Müllrampe
Location: direkt neben Hyde Park u. Oxford Street, Innenstadt u.
(Der Ausblick dort is fantastisch) Insgsamt hielt das Hotel was s versprach.

Very Handy Location for central SydneyPosted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: Great to have a Kitchen
Cons: refurbishment required
Location: B.orders the beautiful hide Hyde Park and an easy walk to central shopping area and Darling Harbour.
The room was very well equipped with a full kitchen etc and clean . However it was in a rather tired condition and could do with a makeover. But having said that I would stay again. The staff were friendly enough but unwilling to allow a late departure. Seemed very quick to say no. Never checked to see if there were any late arrivals expected etc. Good value.

good locationPosted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: Location and nice swimming pool.
Cons: Renovations to freshen up a very tired Hotel.
Location: Great Location close to Hyde Park. Easy walk to Paddington and also the Museum and Town Hall train stations. Very quick 20 min train ride to Airport
We were advised by our friends who checked in the day before us that we would not be happy with the 3.5 star room. Very dated, shabby and smelly. They were upgraded and moved. On arrival we asked to be upgraded before we even saw our room because of this. The receptionist was very helpful and upgraded us to 4.5 star complimentary. The room was adequate with clean linen etc and a kitchen and small lounge area. Definitely not 4.5 star though as the carpets were stained and the bathroom needed some renovations also. The walls were marked with hand prints and the net curtains were very dusty and dirty. The coloured scatter cushions on the bed also needed laundering. Overall the hotel could do with updating, the corridors were dark with chipped paint and worn carpet. There are renovations going on in the front of the hotel so hopefully upgrading is taking place.

It's a hotel of two partsPosted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: It's location, the more modern rooms and the pool area was great.
Cons: All the rooms at a consistent standard. Get rid of the smell on level 2.
Location: It's right by Hyde Park, the Museum station, Art Gallery, Botanic Gardens and a short walk into town. A fabulous location
Our first room was on level 2 ... it stank of musty and while it was clean it was the most dated room I've ever stayed in in my life. I'd give it about 1 star. We were shifted for the remainder of the stay into a room that was probably about 3.5 - very clean, modern, comfortable and it didn't smell!
