Extremely accommodating staff

Pros: Location was great, beds very comfortable, cleanliness was great, staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The lifts appear to have been recently renovated and the call buttons outside them are held on quite flimsy pedestals- this looks to be temporary.
Location: Very close to CBD including Queen Victoria Building and Darling Harbour
Very nice hotel extremely convenient for the CBD. Hotel staff were very helpful with late checkout and assistance with public transport. Room was very clean and VERY comfortable bed. Wished we could have stayed longer. The only disappointment was the room was advertised as having a city view but all we could see from the window was another large building across the lane. We stayed as a couple but noticed a few small families there as well.

Pros: for us, its close to all Sydney has to offer,a short walk to cockle bay.
Cons: management must look at the stay ( how long a gust is in the house ) and provide storage space accordingly and or ask the guest would you like help )
Location: shops / restaurants / the harbor / art / music / theater / entertainment of all sort / the great fireworks
The very small wardrobe space makes it uncomfortable, if not impossible to hand your (2pax) close, and there is very limited draw space to store your travel necessity, hotel staff was at first arguing this fact, but quickly responded, and we had a extra hangers, a chest of draws, and a mobile close hanger in the room. GREAT It seems to be usual for all hotels, to first argue against a guest, but when facts are presented to comply. I suggest management looks more into the fact how long gust are staying = provide things and or have them in the room without the paying guest need to complain or ask for it. That is god management. We have been in this hotel now tow times and will be their again.

Pros: Excellent service
Location: Ideal location for Darling Harbour and Chinatown.
Service was exceptional, very friendly approachable staff. Room was clean and comfortable with a desk, tv, chair, tea/coffee, fridge etc. Bathroom was well presented with a bath and shower. Would recommend and stay again.

Weekend in Sydney to do the Bridge climb

Cons: stronger extraction fans in bathroom
Location: Almost on top of Darling Harbour. Walk to George St for shopping. Explore China Town. walking distance to Museum, Chinese Gardens, close to Casino.
The Park Royal is only a 2 minute walk from Darling Harbour, very close to George St for the shoppers, and a 5 min walk to China Town. The hotel staff really know their city and pass on lots of knowledge. We were comfortable in the spacious, very clean and quiet rooms.

Pros: The front desk staff were very nice.
Cons: Food, staff members, room noise.
Location: Great location, can't fault this at all.
My husband and I stayed here for a night before heading home and with all the other hotels that you can find in Sydney I can honestly say that we won't be staying here again. The room was nice however the bathroom wasn't very clean (went to have a bath and it clearly had not been cleaned in a while) and then we were awake most of the night with noise from traffic outside our room and also were woken up with people talking in the hallway. We also had an issue with room service as well. We ordered our food and were told that there would be about an hour wait (which was fine). However when the food arrived not only was it VERY over priced for what it was, my steak was extremely raw, chips were cold and our grilled bread was dry and cold! I called the woman at room service and was told that she didn't know when she could get some new food to us as they were very busy and bascially offered me no solution to my problem, I don't think she would have even taken the food off the bill if I hadn't requested that it be taken off! By this time it was after 10:30 at night so I had to go without dinner that night. The only positives were the very lovely staff at the check in desks and the location of the hotel.

Location: Tenkomori Ramen House in George Street is delicious. Close to the cinemas and bars.
Wonderful evening in a lovely room. Buffet breakfast was delicious with a great assortment of dishes.

The hotel and staff were overall excellent and after a recent renovation, the place looks good. Our only issue was with the room service where after ordering and being told it would take about 35 mins, it was over 2 hours before they turned up, after calling them several times and they kept saying they were only 10 mins away.
